Is it just me or does the guitar hero 3 controller for the wii look sort of...stupid? I mean, the wii mote just sticking out like that bothers me. Does that mean we cant have faceplates? Because if the gh3 controller for the wii did have face plates, the white color of the wiimote will sort of ruin the look. I feel like im the only one noticing this...but if no one else agrees i promise to keep quiet.
they havnt said anything about the faceplates yet but they have showed 360 and ps3 faceplates. but i like the controller. we do have the best controller you know.
I mean, why couldnt they put the wiimote somewhere on the guitar that didnt look awkward, like the neck. I know about the collapsible neck and stuff but i just dont like the place where they put the wiimote.
it so it will sound better with the speaker. you dont hear yourself mess up at the neck do you. it sounds better coming from the bottom. and its held in so it wont dangle around while your playing

Yeah, it looks rather tacky with the wiimote showing. I agree that the 360 and PS3 guitars look cooler.
It's still going to be a great game. I'm getting it when I can, but I'm buying an acoustic guitar first and I'm going to learn to play an actual guitar.

Gosh, let's all be happy that we're even getting a version on the Wii. You must take your Guitar Hero seriously if you care about a faceplate, lol. Personally, I think the Wii guitar is the best looking, I like the little window so you can see the WiiMote. And anyway, who says the faceplates for the Wii guitar HAVE to have the cutout, they can just make the faceplate cover over the hole.

i dont really see it as a big problem, with it having a 'rectangular hole' in the front. I think its good that the wii guitar controller is this way, with the wiimote working with it.

What I meant was that if the Wii Remote wasn't the power source for the Guitar; then you'll need to have a set of batteries to keepthe Guitarrunning. From what I heard, the Remote is the power source for the Guitar.
The wii guitar has more weight to it so it doesn't feel like a cheap hunk of plastic like the other guitar hero controllers do. Also no usb dongle like the ps3 has.
i don't see the problem. it's a controller for a game, as long as the game plays right, who cares? it's not like they put a picture of a fat naked guy on there :)
