Although Fenix is pretty awesome, Master Chief would fall short of his expectations.  Rather like Halo 2.

Master Chief looks so... weak and generic compared to Marcus. Poor him. At least Mario can jump on their heads trying to flip them over and he can be like the anoying bug:p

as much as i honestly love gears of war and halo... Mario would probably wave dash away, and then use his cape to make marcus cut up the master cheif... A chainsaw's not too easy on the sheilds, i doubt he'd bounce back. Then it would be an insane 1v1 marcus vs mario but in the end they would shake hands and share a milkshake(2 straws of course) because its Wii60 ftw!!!;)

Your loss. Just follow all the other people who say the same thing to look cool and anti-halo. BTW, I doubt a middle-aged portly plumber would survive a chainsaw, rocket launcher, sniper, battle rifle, grenades, shotgun, etc.

Actually Both Master Chief and Marcus Fenix will never appear in SSB because they are owned by Microsoft. The only way they could ever appear in SSB is if Microsoft pulls a SEGA which I don't think will happen anytime soon.
