Import games on VC = Earthbound 64?

What do you guys think? With Nintendo making the bold decision to release imported games on the Virtual Console, do you think we'll ever possibly see the Earthbound that we were never able to?

The SNES Earthbound is possibly my favorite game of all time and I was devestated when I learned that the Nintendo 64 installment (after being delayed 4.6 trillion times) was never going to make it to the States.

And with the addition of Lucas in Brawl (A character from Earthbound 64), one can only hope that maybe there IS a possibility.

Anyone with me?

Yeah. I don't need to restate what's already been said, but with the idea of importing Japanese games to the VC, it's still a possibility that GBA games and even Gamegear might have ported releases on the VC. With that encouragement, it's definitely a possibility for the US to get Mother 3, but I don't think that will even be thought of until Earthbound itself is released on the VC. If the sales are good, then I would imagine they would go into putting Mother (1) on the VC and then ultimately Mother 3 (which would cover the 3-parts of the game).

But with Lucas coming onto the Smash Bros roster, I would imagine that there is going to be an interest in his character and the Mother 3 game. If this is the case (which was the same hope for Ness on Melee), then it just might encourage Nintendo to put forth another Mother/Earthbound installment. If that happens, I just might literally crap myself. hahahaha. :D

You should rename the title as "Import games on VC = Mother 1". Earthbound 64 was cancelled everywhere. It was remade into Mother 3 on the GBA.

Ahh dang, thats RIGHT! The freakin game was never even FINISHED!

Sorry bout that guys, I completley forgot. It might as well have been finished, seeings how they delayed it so many times.

I did, however play Mother 1 through an emulator on my old computer and it was really freakin awesome, heres to hoping that at least we might see THAT on the Virtual Console.
