Not really. Just what I would do if I could make the next Zelda game. And I didn't blog this for one reason, would you guys go read my blog or a topic of this title? Yea, I thought so.
It would take place in the Wind Waker universe right after Phantom Hourglass. Zelda, Link, and Crew return to find their homeworld overrun by rough gangs and what not.
They find out that when Link collect the Triforce shard putting together the Triforce of Courage it took away all the courage from the natives. So, when an invading army of new baddies arrives they do nothing. So, now bound to the very reason why soceity has fallen into peril Link and Zelda try to stop these bad guys. No one is courageous other than them, everyone is a coward and no one will help them unless they're in Link's presence.
When trying to defeat the overlord boss or whatnot Link tries to free Aryll as well. When things start looking bad for Link, Aryll who is watching from the side attempts to help him and she is killed by the boss before Link defeats him. This solves the problem but still there is distress in the world but sadden and feeling guilty Link abandons the cause and Zelda joins him as they sail to find a remote island to get away from the strife.
Then, the old King of Hyrule comes to them in a vision saying someone has started using the Triforce of Power to cause this mischeif. They assume its Ganondorf somehow and after Zelda initially goes alone to stop him, Link follows.
What they find is a broken man in Ganondorf. He isn't the cause of the trouble, plus he has been stripped of the Triforce of Power. Consequently, he is dieing and will continue to unless he is united with the Triforce of Power. All those years of feeding of hate and power was slowly killing him. After some initial battles, Ganondorf discovers he can't win. So, he joins Link and Zelda to find the cause of this chaos long enough until he is reunited with the Triforce of Power where he then will defeat whatever is causing the uproar and then Link and Zelda.
After searching for the signal of the Triforce of Power they find that the Three Gods who made Hyrule, and the Sacred Realm are slowly rising Old Hyrule from under the ocean up to the surface slowly restoring it as punishment to the people. (Kinda of like the Flood, but in reverse) The Gods believe the people have fallen into some sort of sin-like state where they only think about themselves and the abscence of the Triforce of Courage and Wisdom lead them to believe all had been destroyed of the Triforce since Link and Zelda were caught in the dream that was Phantom Hourglass.
While questing to the many new dungeons that have risen from under the Great Sea they find the Hero of Time's resting place.Where a training dungeon lies. From studying the place, Link and Zelda realize that though the Hero of Time was a strong, great hero(Link from OOT) he died alone. No one to love him. This leads to Zelda and Link actually falling in love a little bit. Finally. Not too much romance but enough.
Later, the trio is sidetracked at a local village where Ganondorf meets a woman. Weak, and without his lust for power at the time he too begins too fall for a girl. But, she is abducted by one of the three gods as further punishment. They set out to help her, Ganondorf offers his life to save her but the Gods deny their pleas for mercy saying they've been instructed by an even higher power to do away with their world.
When fighting the three gods, one of them uses the ability to create illusions. And when Link attempts to finish off the last God in a epic battle they all realize Link killed the woman Ganondorf was falling for. It was an illusion. Ganondorf is distraught. He tries to kill Link again, failing as he grows weaker. Now, they know Ganondorf will die the moment he uses the Triforce of Power in unison with Link's Triforce of Courage and Zelda's Triforce of Wisdom. He is reunited with it and gains a momentary boost of strength.
Ganondorf goes out on his own, saying he'll take care of everything asking them not to follow.
Link, and Zelda do what they must and seek passage to the Sacred Realm to fight whatever higher power they must.
That higher power being whatever personifies the Christian World's Satan. I'm not sure how to work that one out.
So, it turns out the three gods weren't really trying to destroy New Hyrule afterall but that their bodies had been possessed by this Devil, a manifestation of an entire race's most evil thoughts.
In the end, Link and Zelda almost lose the epic battle with the Devil until Ganondorf arrives. With Ganondorf's last breath he unites the three pieces of the Triforce with Link and Zelda to stop the Devil.
New Hyrule is saved. A message from the Real Gods tells Link and Zelda that this was only the beginning and even greater challenges lie ahead of them.
Ganondorf is thought to have died, until the Gods restore him and the woman he loved on a secluded Island under the sea where neither of them can leave.
And of course they sail off into the sunset.
Long, I know but if you read all of that please give me your feedback. I think this would be a great story.
