I've been hearing alot about people complaining/freaking out about whether or not BWii would have voice chat or not. Personally, I would still get it because the first one was pretty good and the second doesnt look to disappoint. But I know that there are others that would shun the game if it lacked it. What's your view on it?
If I was given a choice between cheesy predetermined chats or a headset for voice chatting, I would choose voicechat. I'd rather hear a bunch of a-holes then have bad chat options.
Voice chat would make online (especially co-op) much more enjoyable but I wouldn't completley close my eyes to this just because of its lack of voice chat. I'm going to wait for some reveiws before buying BWII
i would buy it if it had more players for online and voice chat, still, campaign looks great! but, the only game im buying this year is Super Mario Galaxy.
I'll still buy the game even without voice chat. It would help a lot for online co-op (assuming I know what it's gonna be like), but if not, then at least I can still do offline co-op with my friends.
Well let's see. BWii doesn't have voice chat, but I'm sure a fairly large amount of people will buy this game and most of those people will know this game does not have voice chat, so I'm quite sure that people will still buy the game any way.
FINALLY SOMEONE POST SOMETHING ABOUT VOICE CHAT. im still getting the game cause its not wii crap, and the game looks really good. but putting a multiplayer STRATEGY game online with no voice chat? yeah, somethings definitly missing. i dont think a d pad with 4 strategic options is enough to satisfy a human player. also, i was listening to a podcast the other day and they were complaining about how nintendo hasnt mention anythig about voice chat. they said that they look over all the technicalities and figured that there is no excuse that the wii doesnt support voice chat, its fully capable. ofcourse when they asked nintendo about that, they said, "no comment."
Voice chat, to me, is a really bad idea for a consol that is based around fun and innovative games. Voice chat will take the fun out of it and make it more competitive. Keep it simple, play for fun. I'm tired of all this MLG, scream into the mic, freak out at the TV garbage. Voice chat is, very simply, unnecessary.
