so yesturday i got a wii....i just got a message its free till JUNE....im jw is it gonna cost monthly? cuz the ps3 one is free...if its 2000 wii points will anyone uet it? p.s. HMV has wiis now=)
If you have it now don't worry, you don't have to pay a cent. The only time you would have to pay for it is if it is after June 1, 2007. Then you only have to pay 500 to download it if you didn't before.
Not to mention it'd be easier just to go on your computer, since you're already paying monthly for internet acess already :P.

If you download it before June 30th then you don't have to pay any money for it. No monthly fees, nothing. If you download it after June 30th, then you pay 500 Wii Points ($5).
OK, this is from Opera Softwares pressrelease: "This version of the browser remains a free download until June 30, 2007, and once downloaded is free for the lifetime of the system."
...and this is from Nintendo.com: "The full version of the Internet Channel is available as a free download through June 30, after which it will cost 500 Wii Points. Once downloaded, the Internet Channel is free for the lifetime of the system."
