You could probably write a book about setting up the Wii. In fact, some guy named Manuel already did it.

You can find an adapter at places like best buy and hook it up to a HUB and your computer to get a wired connection to play on Wi-Fi. It works very well, maybe even better than a Wireless Adapter.

You either need a wireless router or a Lan adapter. I got both. Go with the wireless router. A good one would cost around 60 bucks but it's worth it.

I have this one. I highly recommend.

For not much more than the wired ethernet adapter, you can get a wireless router. The wii has the wireless built in, it is fantastic.

you don't have to run cable into your living room!

I don't understand the point of those adapters, wifi is the way to go, has always worked great for me.

Some people say the wired connections work better because there are no possible interferences like the wireless routers.

I never noticed a difference.

You just need a wireless router. They're simple, and usually not that expensive. It's also (imo) a good purchase, because from now on, I'm sure all future consoles will have WIFI capabilties, and you can also tap into the signal with your Laptop (if you have one), and not to mention.... it's wireless. I'm sure everyone hates the clutter of chords.

You just install the software that comes with it. Doa little research, and read the manul (if you need to), and find the security codes for the router (if it's secure. I believe you can shut that off. Mine is secure, I believe people should pay for the internet!!!)

Then when you do all the above, you just search for a signal. The Wii will recognize it, and you just have to enter the security code (again, if it's secured).

It's not hard at all.

If you go the LANadapter route, good luck. I have no idea what you do with that. Why do that though, it's so much easier to just go with wireless.
