I just got a new internet connection and now my Wii cannot connect to the internet. The installation man said he did nothing to my current router. My Wii still can see the connection when it searches for access points, but when it tries to connect it gets and error message. My gut tells me something happened when the new internet service was hooked up, but I don't see how that could have happened. Any help?

Is there an access key that you need to type in to use the connection? That may be the problem.

Try unplugging your Wii and your router, wait a few minutes, then plug them back in and check the Wii settings again. I don't know why, but that seems to work sometimes when dealing with wireless connections. If that doesn't fix it, then I'm no further use to you. ;)

I unplugged and then re-plugged both of them and still no internet. And yes, I did put in the WEP Key.

Not sure which one Wii uses but there are different types of encryption you can set your wireless router to. Its possible that your router is set to one the Wii doesn't like.
