Well he wont be wrong about something coming in September. He's not the spokesperson for Nintendo because he makes them look bad. He said there's something coming at the end of that month so chances are almost 100% that something will be coming there unless something huge happens that prevents it.
What the surprise is could be anything. It doesn't mean it's Smash is online and he never even hinted that it was. It's like thinking a girl wants to marry you because she smiled at you, you're looking too far into it to what you want to hear. He said nothing and you can only come to the conclusion that he did if you look too far into it.
when someone act like that when they don't say normally mean might have a game with online this year not metroid, not galaxy that would not work but SSBB would work but he could also talk about Super Mario charged which is not out in the usa but as online but i don't think he was thinking about that because it out in alot of the world so i think he would be talking about SSBB or that mystery software with the zapper (don't really think that) but it still possible if he would not even answer this year so i think SSBB will have online and let hope so

BWii? That's the only thing announced late September but was supposedly bumped back to October. Maybe something new? Unlikely to be a game because if they moved BWii back to October because of Halo 3 why would they put another game in it's place?

I would think that it's something else too. While I know you're not thrilled to have your game delayed it's a better scenario not to go head to head with Microsoft there.
I'm hoping that's when we get our new channel, I knew we have a ton of games coming out. I'm just interested to see where they're going to add the extras to the Wii.

I was happy to hear Reggie reflect my point of view on online multiplayer for Metroid. Also, adding a significant multiplayer mode would either 1) cause the game's development time to be longer or 2) detract some development time from the single-player mode. Neither of those are desirable.
I think if smash bros really had online, Reggie would have said "yes". How he asnwered that question scared me. I really hope it does though.Herosuperdude

Yeah no kidding. Reggie merely smiles when he is asked, as if an online mode would just be this super swell extra to an already godly game. News flash Nintendo! It's 2007! SSBB should be online. An online mode isn't an extra, a bonus, a favor to the fans - it's standard in this day and age. You didn't see Bungie teasing its fanbase with the possibility of Halo 2 being online, because it was practically required of them - and that was in 2004. 3 years later, and Nintendo is still acting like online is some cool new feature that they may or may not support. It's ridiculous.
