First of all, aside from playing Super Mario Bros. once in a while, I haven't used my Wii in about three months. I'd really been looking foward to Fifa 08, because I thought they could do a lot with the motion sensing controls. And today, I read about it and how it will use Miis. Okay, all along I've been saying that Nintendo is not kiddy, but this is a bit absurd. I can already see it. There will be two teams; your custom Mii team, and like the World All-Stars or something. I'm sure that there won't be a player rating system. SoI can almost guarantee that it'llessentially be another Wii Sports game. Well, whatever. I just thought I'd rant for a bit.
Wait wait wait....r u telling me that EA Sports is agreeing to use those lego blocks as characters in one of their games. This better be just an option.
At least someones using them. I'm not sure about this but I don't think a single game since wii sports has used the miis. I mean what was the point of having them on the wii if not to give you the ability to make and play with your own custom characters?
A lot of people want miis so the game has them. Seriously you people complained that Nintendo wasn't handing out the kits to allow companies to have miis in the game now you complain that isn't true.
The game uses both actual players and miis. You are whining over nothing.
Only the miny game mode called Footii Party is going to use Mii's. The rest of the game is going to use real players..sheesh is it really that hard to read everything?
the use of Miis will be seperate from the main game. Mii will be implemented in Madden '08 as well. Its good to see a developer do something with the Miis... they are pretty useless at this point in time.
You do realise that the Mii's will only be used within the mini-games portion of Fifa and the rest of the game will use the real character models. Personally I'm glad that third parties have access to the Mii's and the fact that my Mii can play against a Ronaldinho Mii is awesome.
