is anyone bothered that new super mario bros looks like...a ds game?

It's been kinda confusing me honestly

i'm not saying it looks exactly like the one on DS, but you can tell nintendo didn't exactly bother to push this game's graphics.

either way, 2d mario platformer is always good so i guess it won't really matter. but still :?

I meant in 2D. The New Super Mario Bros series is supposed to call back to the original series, but how it would look today.

The game has better textures, details, and graphics then the one on the DS. Its just harder to tell from your computer and the size of the game.

Maybe the Wii couldnt fit any more in the game... They couldnt put online on it so maybe they had to put down the graphics...i dont know since im not a wizz at this stuff :P

You should check out some more vids or something cause it farts all over NSMB visually.

I think it looks great. As long as I have fun playing it, I could care less about the graphics.

What do you mean, these are not DS graphics, how else could Miyamoto say with a stright face that this game is maxing out the Wii so much online play is impossible. If that's the case then what you are looking at are top of the line, impossible before today graphics. Am I right?

I aren't bothered because its a 2D Mario sidescroller and I aren't bothered if it looks the same or not it looks alot of fun to me.

It is not Super Mario Galaxy-looking but it is still better than New Super Mario Bros graphically.

I don't know... looking at this earlier, I think the game's visuals are looking really nice. Despite the footage being so zoomed out, I'm impressed with the activity that's taking place, the backgrounds, and the models. Plus, hopefully, these are just a handful of the game's levels.

Another thing... I'm loving Fire Toad already! :P

It doesn't really bother me, I just hope that since they are working on putting NSMB2Wii on a disc they would put A LOT O' stuff....

And I think they were right for putting it on Wii. It's easier gathering people on a console than on a handheld (Anyone tried to play Four Swords on Game Boy)...

I do when it's a DS game ported to the Wii...with DS graphics...not Wii graphics.
