Is anyone excited for Rygar?

Trailer is a tweaked version of the old one in better quality with a couple of extra bits.
New pic, looks like the graphics are improving already, for instance compare this to the last screen: same enviroment, huuuge difference.
Rygar-trailer In interviews the producer said that in the next few months he's trying to bring the graphics up to wii levels and the first was a solid game.

At first glance it's hard to know what to make of Tecmo's upcoming Rygar title for Wii, thanks to the game's ongoing identity crisis and slightly bizarre origin. But after spending some time with the game, as well as Team Tachyon (the newly named internal development studio at Tecmo helmed by Fatal Frame producer, Keisuke Kikuchi), we've finally gotten our bearings on what could be one of the best action games coming for the Wii.

1UP: How do you mean 'matching' the graphics? Are you enhancing them so they're better than the PS2, or does the Wii do something with a color palette that makes things look richer?
KK: I mean basically to make the graphics look better specifically on the Wii.

it looks kinda cool, but it's just an incredibly basic PS2-to-Wii port.AlmightyMax
NO this is not a basic PS2 to Wii port. If it was they wouldn't be adding new enemies and a totally new hero look. This game is getting a Graphics over haul so its more up-dated... the Hero in the PS2 game had brown hair and orange like clothing.. this Hero has White hair.. white and black clothing and he is more bulkier. Plus they are adding more enemies in the game to add more variety. I also remember hearing they will add few bosses..
I have played the PS2 version and loved it alot. I am definitely excited for the Wii version.. so no this is not your basic PS2 to Wii port. If it was they wouldn't add more enemies or totally change the hero's design. At LEAST they are putting effort to upgrade this game.. even if it is the same PS2 game.

I've been interested in this game for a while now, but it kinda fell off my radar because we haven't heard anything about the game in months. Even now with everything thats going on at Tecmo, I fear that this game may not be released.bc1391
It will come... they already spend alot of time with it. It will be dumb if they don't release it.
