OK so i stood out in line for 12 hours and throw up waiting to get my wii on the first day. and got Zelda and my whole family loves wii sports but i have seen a really lack of anything good software wise beside Zelda, RE4,and Paper mairo and the majority of the games seem to behalf ass and I'm really worried if the software doesn't beef up the wii will suffer is anyone else experiencing the same anxiety as me?
For now I am a bit worried . It lacks great games, however give it time MP3, SSMB, and Galaxy are just around the corner. Infact just wait till e3 im sure ninty is going to show plenty of stuff there .
Wii Play (Got my starter games for new players plus tanks for my gf) WiiSports (Sports games that anyone can play) Metal Slug Anthology (2 guys pizza and metal slug? you got a deal) Zelda Twighlight Princess (Solid Zelda games for solo play) SSX blur (Racing, Extreme Sports anyone?) Excite Truck (Awesome fun anyone can enjoy, you crashed? no worries heres a star now get going!) Resident Evil Wii Edition (Need i say more? wii controlls perfect this game) Rayman raving Rabbits(wacky minigame collection (everyone with a wii should have 1 minigames game))
So i got basically everyone and no matter the situation whether alone or with friends I got a game that suits. Maybe except for RTS and FPS i think i have all bases covered. not to mention VC games (my gf loves sonic 2) and GC smash bros to tie me over untill Release.

While the XBox 360 is plagued by hardware problems, the PS3 sits on shelves gathering dust, and meanwhile the Wii continues to sell like crack.
Man, that is a good quote, and that is all that matters. If the system continues to sell as it is developers will be forced to build games for the system. The DS had a game drought for a while, but look at it now! I reckon by Christmas we'll be flooded with good games to play, especially ones from Nintendo.

i think soon the wii game creaters will run out of ideas to do with the wii controller and normall over games e.g the gta series will come to the wii and will burn because of the controller and the wiis hardware

The Wii took everyone by surprise, even Nintendo. Many launch games were not ready, and they will be going on sale between now and Christmas. If these games live up to the hype, Wii sales will be off the charts and that will mean third party support in a big way.
Most third party support games were quick ports that were done poorly up to now. When you have the #1 selling console, you attract attention. It took six months for most game developers to believe the Wii was for real, so now they START to put resources and support to developing games for it. That means 8-12 months before any really good games are ready. Anything they whip out in 6 months or less will be a crappy port of a PS2 game.
So I really believe that the second half of 2007 will be great for the Wii with Nintendo games, and 2008 will be the year of the true third party support games.
nomad I hope your right man....I mean at this point A LOT OF GAMES are being WAAAAY to overhyped and at this point couldn't live up to expectations even if they were remotely possible.... for example Brawl... I'll love brawl cause my expectations aren't high at all for it.... where as everyone else knows WAAAAAAAY to much about it and that right there will cut down seriously on the overall "enjoyment time" when you go to find new things out and about all the different items and what they do and such.... meanwhile you have people studdying each item like they're about to go to war and that item is their mission objective till the new one comes out... combine them with the worshipers of the top games coming out and the end result is chaos... I mean sure a character list would be nice but thats about it... they're givin every damn thing away lol.... then MetroidP3 is getting over hypedalong with mario.... if you hype it "just enough" the games will be like 9.5s and up out of ten.... but if you overhype it it'll suck cause it won't live up to your imagination.... I mean wtf some people are getting excited because theres a 0.000001 percent chance cloud Strife may be in brawl.... then they go into a denial when people say no he won't.... same deal with sonic and such.... so by me underrating intentionally or not getting to hyped about a game I've learned that 1 if it does come out not as planned I won't care nearly as much... or 2. the game will be 4 times as more awsome to me then it would anyone else because it surpassed my expectations by a long shot...

Wow, if game creators can't think of ideas to utilize motion sensing then it's a sad time for gaming.
*scoffs*... worry?!?!... abut the wii?!?!? there is no trime for such petty thoughts so as punishment i command u to go smack yurself, walk to the mall whilecarrying yur fattest family member, buy the cheapest wii points card with a $100 dollar bill and tell them to keep the change, the crawl back home while still carrying that family member, bow to yur wii for 2 hours, and then use those points for about 20 days of fun if yur quota isnt met then u shall be punished again!!...
