There is a good chance however Infinity Ward is developing Modern Warfare 2. Infinity Ward doesn't really like the Wii...SMR-VenomThey don't even like Nintendo at all.

Infinity Ward has the license for this game only for now, they wouldn't let them until the next Call of Duty is announced.
You're joking, right? No way are they making it for the Wii.Ottosmann
I want to see the look on your face when it's announced for the Wii also. I thought people have learned not to say what will and won't come out for what system by now. Especially when it's the Wii. That same thing has been said about numerous games that people never thought would come to the Wii and almost everytime, they were proven wrong. Make sure you have good lighting on that picture of your face when it gets announced for Wii.
Anyway, back on topic, no word yet as far as a Wii announcement.

Call of Duty: World at War is close to hitting 1 million copies sold on the Wii. To ignore a userbase like that is short-sighted,and frankly shows retardation of judgment. COD: Modern Warfare 2 will most likely be on the Wii in some form. If not from Infinity War, then from Treyarch.[QUOTE="SMR-Venom"]There is a good chance however Infinity Ward is developing Modern Warfare 2. That was n-Space, not Infinity Ward.
i'll buy someone (whoever is the first to put this in their and PM) a VC (NES) game if the game doesn't come out in the Wii. Same goes if I win.
They would be stupid not to...plus Activision has the say in all of this. Not to mention...didn't Treyarc dev the Wii version of WaW?

I highly doubt its quality, but I'm pretty sure it will make it onto the platform.
Infinity Ward has no say where the franchise goes. The only say they have is which console they want to work on, and that's the HD systems. Considering they're one of the few that's made a game that allows them to turn a profit on the HD twins, there's no reason to force them to do anything else.
But the game will likely show up on Wii on Activision's account, probably by another development team.

This. I don't think Infinity Ward will bring it over to the WII. Maybe some other developer.

If that's the case, then let's hope High Voltage Software do Wii Modern Warfare 2.Infinity Ward has no say where the franchise goes. If that's the case, then let's hope High Voltage Software do Wii Modern Warfare 2. I never thought about that, that'd be great if HV made MW2 for the Wii.Maybe. Conidering CoD4 was in development back in 07 (a time when publishers were ok with ignoring wii) and that there was no PS2 version in the works, it would had been really out of the way to make a wii version.
Today though, publishers can't ignore the wii unless they want less money. There's been plenty of time to plan a wii version.

If they are remotly aware of the Conduit, then they will know that they can make a awsome FPS for Wii.
So, yeah, I think Modern Warfare 2 will come to Wii.
And since it is being developed by Infantry Ward, It will be a visually stunning well controlling COD game that will make WAW look like a discrace.
It says on IGN that it is coming to Wii

NOTE: This has been confirmed as a game in development but has not been officially announced for any specific platform -- it may or may not be released on this system. Please check back for official info.
Well, aside from the TC's "comments" and "posts"...these last few posts have actually been some pretty decent statements and ideas.
The problem with making Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 for Wii is simple. Infinity Ward would only make the 360 and PS3 versions. Even if they did develop a Wii version...it wouldn't be as technically superior..not just in the graphics but in just about every field....the problem would be that Infinity Ward would want their game realistic and while it's somewhat possible with the Wii...it just wouldn't be the same to them as it would be their 360/PS3 versions of the game.
It likely will be released, but by another Developer. Of course there's also the lower graphics and sound quality....and sadly..there's likely going to be the Friend Codes for online...and of course the physics will likely be set rather than adaptable...but the main goal for the Wii version would be to make money.
do your research before saying whatever. http://www.infinityward.com/about-us they are wholly owned by activision. This means the CEO of activision can spank them if he wants to.Infinity Ward has no say where the franchise goes. u do know, world at war was pretty much the same game as the others right? Maybe with some features missing?Well, aside from the TC's "comments" and "posts"...these last few posts have actually been some pretty decent statements and ideas.

I don't want Treyarch to work on Modern Warfare 2 for Wii, because of them slacking of with WAW.
I want Infinity Ward to make it because they make quality games.
