That same thing has been said about numerous games that people never thought would come to the Wii and almost everytime, they were proven wrong. Call of Duty: World at War is close to hitting 1 million copies sold on the Wii. To ignore a userbase like that is short-sighted,and frankly shows retardation of judgment. COD: Modern Warfare 2 will most likely be on the Wii in some form. If not from Infinity War, then from Treyarch.

I don't see why not. WaW had so many sales for the Wii, and since they already made COD WaW for the wii there gona have to continue making them. It makes no sense to just make WaW and not to make anymore COD games for the Wii. I predict that MW2 is going to be on the Wii....Just watch.

Maybe. Conidering CoD4 was in development back in 07 (a time when publishers were ok with ignoring wii) and that there was no PS2 version in the works, it would had been really out of the way to make a wii version.
Today though, publishers can't ignore the wii unless they want less money. There's been plenty of time to plan a wii version.

The problem with making Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 for Wii is simple. Infinity Ward would only make the 360 and PS3 versions. Even if they did develop a Wii version...it wouldn't be as technically superior..not just in the graphics but in just about every field....the problem would be that Infinity Ward would want their game realistic and while it's somewhat possible with the Wii...it just wouldn't be the same to them as it would be their 360/PS3 versions of the game.
It likely will be released, but by another Developer. Of course there's also the lower graphics and sound quality....and sadly..there's likely going to be the Friend Codes for online...and of course the physics will likely be set rather than adaptable...but the main goal for the Wii version would be to make money.
I think CoD MW2 should be made for Wii since Wii Mote is very suitable for playing FPS, better then analog controler. I don' t mind if the graphic is not as good as the PS3/360...everybody know that Wii can't handle HD graphic. But Wii sure could give the best gameplay for FPS. I've played CoD W@W on PC, but still consider Wii version is the most fun because of the WiiMote.

This is exactly what I was thinking, Treyarch took the COD4 engine from IW and re-worked it for the Wii. So there's no reason why they can't develop COD6 on the Wii as well if IW doesn't want to/have the team or resources to.

I don't want Treyarch to work on Modern Warfare 2 for Wii, because of them slacking of with WAW.
I want Infinity Ward to make it because they make quality games.
but if infinity war makes it the wii wont get it at all! and besides i think it was confirmed for wii anyway wasnt it? someone had something from IGN and it was on there for december 31 2009 release for wii in the US United Kingdom and just about everywhere else
