sure you may have to pay a little extra for it on ebay but it could be worth it if you cant ever find one anywhere in your area no matter where you look

and face it some of you cant wait and will go insane if you have to wait for christmas

so whle ebays maybe full of price gougers just remember without these so called price gougers some people might not even have wii's

so thank those people on ebay for selling such a hard to find and very much wanted item

so really is buying a wii off ebay as bad as you say it is or are you just spouting crap?

NOTHING WRONG WITH EBAY WHATSOEVER, no matter what anyone tells you there's nothing wrong, especially with buying one most people here give ebay crap for selling them, cause they're mad they didnt' get one and its not fair that someone gets 150-300 free dollars for overpricing on ebay, but there's nothingwrong with that IMO, and buying one, if you really want it is fine

i mean seriously most people would tell you to wait rather then buy one off ebay but tell me do you honestly think trying to camp out in the frigid cold is better then buying one online from the comfort of your warm home?

Tell me you did not just compare freezing a little bit and saving 100-150 dollars on an overpriced wii to buying one on ebay and being warm. Is it just me or does that sound like you're saying you'd rather pay  a HELL of a lot more just so you can sip hot cocoa at home? hmm freeze a little save alot...or be toasty and get ripped off...

some dont like it because they cant do the same.

Buy a console, sell it on for profit = people who cant do that dont like it.

that is the reason, its obvious.

Also you have to realize that an extra 150 dollars is like pulling a 1 dollar bill out thier pocket to some people. Not everyone has money worries and dont care about the price tag

I would never pay more than retail for anything, but the ebay wii prices are not bad at all right now and if I had a lot more cash and little time, I'd go that route.  Paying an extra $100 isn't bad at all when you consider the timeand effort that went into getting the Wii.  Plus, it costs money to list the thing.  The people who paid 3k plus for a PS3 day one on ebay of over $500 for a Wii day one must feel pretty dumb right now, but paying 900 for a ps3 or 350-400 for a wii on ebay doesn't seem too bad at all really.  A little extra cash to some who don't have much spare time.

Well that's not exactly true, the people who have a lot of money are the ones who are stingier than those who do not.Oh yeah, and not everyone has a fully developed brain.

I would never buy a console off eBay because their overpriced. However, I think it's great to buy used games. You can get lucky sometimes and get a great game for really cheap.

I used ebay got my wii games cheap and the system a little over priced. I would not have used ebay for getting a wii but when everywhere around you here the same thing "no wii's, come back in a few weeks, no wii's for months" you get a little desperate and buy the wii. But I get my other stuff on ebay cheap so yes ebay is still good, even if you have pay more for the wii.

PS

A ps3 on ebay went down below retail 20-50 if you want one get it and these are for new ones.

Lol, these topics are so old nothing is ever relevant anymore. During the time this topic was created, the Wii sold for double the retail price, maybe even more. Now it's still overpriced, but only by about $50-100. But like others have said, the problem with Ebay is when people buy them from stores only for the intent of making cash off ebay, rather than buying it for the satisfaction of it. That isn't to say that it's completely wrong. Because supply is dependent on where you live. If some places have Wiis that no one buys then they can sell them online to places that don't have any Wiis. It also works out eventually, since prices are coming down and maybe in a month or two it'll stabilize.
