Is it a bad time to get a DS

i mean its been out for so long...is a new system gonna come out soon?

plus psp just annouced a 3000 version...which is supposedly better and new games are coming out...

is the DS improving as well? are there new really good games coming out too?

or should i just keep my PSP...oh ya the reason i wana sell my psp and get a ds is cuz i got it because i thought i could have music and games...but then i found out the music player isnt that great...so ya

Like I just posted, rumors of a new DS have been circulating the net for a long time. Try not to give any credibility and get a DS.

It is never to late there are so many great games coming out and only more to come. If you really like fps I would keep an eye out for the game "Moon" it is going to be sweet.

Dude, the DS has been out for like four years. Just get one all ready. There is no news of another console from Nintendo.

now is the perfect time to buy a DS because most of the best games are already out but yet the system will not be getting replaced any time soon.

1. No, a new one isn't coming out anytime soon, especially when it's still ruling the sales charts after four years.

2. The new PSP "3000" is just a small upgrade from the previous revision. New games are always coming out.

3. The DS doesn't need to improve, it's fine the way it is. There are great games coming out this year, more than enough.

Even if a new one was coming I think it'd still be worthy.

I bought mine just 3 months ago and there are just sooooooo many good games, and you can find them for very low prices, due to being released some time ago.

But it really goes from person to person I guess. You said you love your PSP, I have one and just can't find games that I like. Try playing in a friend's DS or something.

I recently bought a DS lite about a week ago. Traded my PSP in for the wonderful little machine and it was worth every cent. The PSP just wasn't appealing, the games weren't interesting and there isn't a lot of support for the system. I gave the PSP two years chance before I chucked it Gamestop for credit.

There are plenty of quality games to discover, I suggest trading in the PSP and buying the DS......NOW!

As the ds sales are still rocket high I don't think nintendo will announce a new handheldfor a while

KEEP YOUR PSP! The only games that are good for the DS are the nintendo games. I think there aren't many of them.

All the time is a bad time to get a DS... You have a Psp which owns the Ds in every single way. I have had a Ds for 2 years and i havent played it in a year.

The DS, yet theres not much coming out for the PSP or DS.

But thats just my opinion.

PSP-3000 has no spec upgrades. It only has a brighter screen and built in mic.

I'd recommend getting a DS it seems like nintendo is going to stick with it a while longer, especially since it works so well with the wii, I can't really see them upgrading to a next-gen handheld right now.
