Sony is also working on the next Playstation and Microsoft is working on their next system. That's how these things work. It's not unusual to hear about a system in development immediately after one is released. Just because they're talking about it doesn't mean it's going to be released any time soon. It will be 3, 4, 5 years down the road. Not next year or the year after that.
it said so on QJ.net, Nintendo itself stated it...can't post a link thru Mozilla though, but that's what they said, they're working on a Wii 2 which might be released by December:Smvp_153
Sorry but you are wrong.
Nintendo said that they were planning on releasing a Wii 2 by the end of the year. It sounds like they've definitely given up on the Wii and it's hopeless titles from third party developers. Is it due time to get rid of it, while te hype is still scarcely alive? Please help, and thanks:)mvp_153
They're making a Wii 2, but it's definitely not gonna be out by the end of the year.

I want to see this, and why can't you post a link through Firefox? Ctrl+c and Ctrl+v or right click.
How can this be a 15 yo. question? Wii's weren't released 15 years ago.thriteenthmonke
Maybe he meant it is a question only 15 year olds should answer.
I think you should smash it....it's the best option available to you.

This
why the hell would they already release a new console. Not only does this one have a wealth of games but its selling off the charts.
I would hate to have to buy a new console so soon. I might as well stick to the PC if MS, Sony, and Nintendo start cutting down their console lifetimes.

...There isn't gonna be a wii 2(at least for a while)... You fail hard
The Wii 2 won't come out till like 2013.rockerking9
That would make its life span 7 years. That's a bit too long for any console. (the typical life span is 5 years)

I suspect the PS3 would have come out sooner if not for production issues with the cell and blu-ray.

It would have, it was delayed due to difficulties manufacturing lasers for the blu-ray player IIRC.Please Log In to post.
