This is one of the reason's i am reluctant to buy it, i get migraines a lot and i know that the 3D will probably make it worse. I havent tried it out yet though so i could be wrong.
Did you try adjusting the 3D depth slider at best buy? if not, then that means it was probably set to the "sweet spot" of which ever person used it before you. Next time, try adjusting the 3D slider a bit to find this "sweet spot." But even if 3D doesnt work for you, that shouldnt stop you from buying the 3DS. At the end of the day, all that should matter are the games and reather you like them or not.
As some journalists have mentioned, you use muscles in your eyes that you don't typically use, while viewing 3D. I don't know if this is true for any of you, but when I first started going to the theaters to see 3D movies, my eyes were bothered (strained, tired, a bit blurry) after about an hour. Now 3D in the theater doesn't bother me nearly as much. I think for most people it's just a matter of using those muscles enough, and then the 3DS shouldn't bother you (along with proper use of the slider).
maybe that's why you look like you do :PI had the slider maxxed out & didnt get hurt. It honestly depensd how used to 3D & looking ar screens u are. I have been doing the cross eyed 3D trick for 2 years so im very used to messing around with my eyes.

OH LOL!
I played with the 3ds for about 15 min at my local Best Buy and after about 5 minutes my eyes started to hurt pretty badly. Is it just me? I wear glasses if that would matter. Agrzybianek3D does that to some people, thats one reason why the 3DS has the option to reduce or increase the 3D effect to fit your tolerance. Or turn it off entirely as I will be doing as I will be doing as I cant even see 3D images...meh lol
