I dont know it it is just me but I can never play a ssb game for more than an hour or two. After that they just get plain boring because you are just doing the same thing over and over. Does anyone else feel this way!wlthunder1
Its just you
Do u have nintendo WFC?

Exactly, it's a fighting game
You play it for a while and then move onto other games, there's no real draw to it once you unlock all the fighters
brawl has waaaaaay more to do than get the charactersit seems to me like this game was hyped like crazy and then almost immediately dropped off after it was released. I don't own the game but I have a question for those of you who do:
when playing multiplayer are you generally playing online or locally? From what I've gathered on here, the online leaves much to be desired and a lot of people were kinda riding on it being the main way they were gonna play with others. I think that if online was left out, leaving players to get a group of friends together to play, it might have not had the same effect. that's just me though and like I said, I've not played the game.

whoozwah
Everyone got tired of talking about it and went to play it instead. :P
I dont like SSB games. I had Melee and thought it was extremely boring.
It's not a bad game/series, but I'm more into puzzle solving/adventure games. Not fighting.
YOU'RE NOT ALONE
I must admit I'm BORED WITH BRAWL. Deal with it, people.
Even though I checked the site everyday for the update, I played it for about a month or so, then dropped it. Maybe because its WiFi sucks, or that the Challenges do nothing except give you a trophy, which is one of about 2000.
So, OP, don't feel alone.
Believe me, itz not Nintendo's fault you cannot find a game online, or don't have friends with a Wii and a copy of the game.
I usually find games under 30 secs every time. I also do not have much of a problem when it comes to lag. More than half of my games don't have much lag. I sometimes get games that feature a noticeable input lag, but if it effects gameplay too much for me, I simply and quickly exit the game and find another one. You will ocassionally get games that freeze for some reason, but itz not that often, therefor not really a big problem at all.
I haven't even scratched the surface of this gigantic game. I've mainly been playing Wifi, and most of those games have been with random people. So.. Yea, I'm still having fun with Smash..
waited two years for it.. Played it for a week.. Now its just boring even online.. And the fighting/allstar/classic mode.. Gets old after youve done it again and again.. Seeing as its the same and boring after awhile.

i feel that way too. it feels like the same ol thing. choose character. beat people up. collect copy/paste trophy. lather, rinse repeat.
luckily, the multiplayer saves it

exactly how i felt....only replace "week" with "month". i felt the game was a giant copy/paste job.

The Subspace Emissary can get a little bit repetitive, but besides that I think the game is a blast. I love unlocking all of the characters and completing challenges, that sort of thing, so SSBB is right up my alley. The multiplayer is also so epic and is the best party game I think I have ever played.
In short, no, I don't think SSBB is boring or tedious whatsoever.
