Is it just me or does anyone else think that the wii is somewhat lacking???

I was just wondering if i was the only one who thought that the wii was lacking compared to other consoles?

Ill tell you what i have found out as soon as i got my wii...

Graphics - Well i thought it was 2008 well i obviously was wrong when i saw the graphics of the wii games...although resident evil 4 is pretty good along with a few other select games also i would rather pay another £50 and get a console which consists of good graphics let alone "Next Gen" graphics.

Sound- What on earth was nintendo thinking when they put a speaker inside the remote, the sound is really awful quality.

Games- Well i wouln't recommend this to anyone who doesnt like pixies and fairies prancing about on your TV screen. The games are mainly for a young group of people.

One of the major downfalls i found was COD:WAW like comeon when i pay £35 i expect to get a full game but oh no not while its on the wii, one online mode and single player and 2nd player on offline coop is only a crosshair.

I liked the sound of the upcoming horror releases ... Grasshopper, Dead Rising: Chop till you Drop.

oh and one other lil thing i would like to touch on is after so many years of dedication to nintendo capcom make resident evil 5 on everything but wii, i cant blame them the graphics would be shockin...

It's something people on GameSpot talk about often... it's all a matter of preference, I think. If you want to play FPS or if graphics rule your gaming experience, then you will undoubtedly find it underwhelming.

Personally, it is always on at my house. These days I play it more than I watch TV, and I have more games than I can play. Maybe I'm not as "hardcore" as I used to be, you know, I have more to do than video games right now... but I play for at least 2 hours every day, more on weekends.

Right now I'm juggling: Animal Crossing, de Blob, Order Up! and Dr. Mario for WiiWare. And those are just the games I've played this month and last.

With the Conduit and a new Final Fantasy on the way early in '09, I'm set for a while.

Also, great first post for the Wii Forum... If I were you I would divert all power to your flame shield.
