I played Excite Truck pretty long and still put the disc in my Wii sometimes. All that actually without multiplayer, awesome game. Can't wait for a sequel :(
Also in future, there'll be at least F-Zero GX, Wave Race and 1080°
Maybe someone who didn't buy any other racing games would think that Mario Kart is the only good racing game

Excite Truck is a great game and is better then Mario Kart when you factor in their launch cycles. Considering it's a launch title and it's one of the best that's quite a feat.
Need for Speed Carbon is also a good game. The controls are perfect with the Wiimote
It would be nice to see some more. I didn't really like MK much. NFS Carbon has good driving in it, I just wish the overall game was a bit better, maybe the next one? Haven't played Excite Trucks yet.
I actually came here to see what the 'good' racing game was. If MKWii is the only good one, I guess the wii has NO good racing games. Mario Kart will never be a racing game to me, too much luck, items, and cheaty AI for it to get a classification as a "racing" game, let alone a 'good' one. To each their own though.

It totally agree. Mario Kart pwns all racing games. YES thats exactly what i agree. Mario kart is the only good driving/ racing game in the whole genre. And I've played lots of other racing games like need for speed and burnout.
