At least part of the additional cost might have to do with the fact that they're using higher capacity DS cards for a lot of their new games.
correct me if im wrong but, the only "different" DS card that is available right now is ASH's. 256mb is the size which is contained in a card thats capable of holding up to 2GB if im not mistaken...... most Squeenix games are a little less than 125mb which is enough for the "standard" ds cardAt least part of the additional cost might have to do with the fact that they're using higher capacity DS cards for a lot of their new games.

Actually the "standard" would really be the 64MB cards. The 128MB ones themselves are only used by a minority of games. Umm, though I could have sworn I read somewhere that FFIV would be on a 256MB card. I can't find the article anymore though.
