From looking at the games released on the gamecube and those on the Wii I feel that The Gamecube had much better games overall? Do you agree or disagree.
Of course a game like Super Mario Galaxy is one of if not the best game ever, but other than that.......
I wonder why the games on the Gamecube(and this is just my opinion) was so much better, diverse, with great storylines in many of these. Is it harder to develop for the Wii or is Nintendo just not the company it used to be? Has it something to do with the Wii controller?

I actually feel the exact opposite. To list a couple of examples:
Mario Kart: Double Dash, whilst a great improvement to the N64 installment, wasn't terribly good. Mario Kart Wii, however, is according to me, and every fan of the series I know the best Mario Kart game yet.
The Wind Waker, despite its great graphics, was an incomplete game that didn't last on me quite as long as OoT or MM, and I didn't enjoy it as much as those either. I haven't played TP (let's just consider it a Wii game), but from what I've heard it was loads better.
Super Mario Sunshine was a fun game but didn't reinvent the genre quite as much as Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Galaxy.
Another noteworthy mention is Brawl. Melee is also great, and Brawl completely lives up to the challenge of successing it, if you ask me.
So I'm afraid I'm gonna have to disagree with the point being made. There are of course great games on the GC such as F-Zero GX, Star Fox Adventures (and Assault for as far I'm concerned), and Paper Mario 2, but no successors have yet appeared on the Wii for the former two games, while I haven't played the successor to the last game (Super Paper Mario) yet. I do start to notice, though. I have my Wii only since February, and I already have half the number games I got for the GC in its entire lifespan, and I'm nowhere near the end of this enthusiasm.
