Is it now possible to run wiiware/arcade games off an SD card now?

havent kept up in wii news in ages, so i wanna know is it possible to play the downloaded games off an sd card rather than only being able to play it through the wii hdd?

Nope, and that function will never happen either. The only solution Nintendo has come up with is to allow you to download games directly to your SD card. But that update isn't even coming out until next year. I think you can tell just how much Nintendo cares about this storage issue.

Could they easily make it sync so you can run it from the SD card but when you put that SD card in another Wii it just doesn't work?

oh i didnt know that, i guess thats something, when was that update available (i probably already have it anyways)

You didnt know that, because it is wrong. Nintendo has never said what their "Solution" is actually going to be. They just said it would make to process simpler
