Is it really worth the money

I like it, and it's my only current gen console.

But, I wouldn't spend that much money on something you're not sure about.

mario galaxy, Resident Evil 4, warioware smooth moves, super paper mario, mario kart, metroid prime 3 corruption, okami wii, puzzle quest: challenge of the warlords, Zack and Wiki: the search for barboros' treasure loads more chack it out its very good really.King-gamer

In my opinion, there are no good games that are coming out in the future. The ones listed above are spectacular, it just depends if you think they will last you until next gen.

I like it, and it's my only current gen console.

But, I wouldn't spend that much money on something you're not sure about.

If you don't already own a 360 than get a Wii. I have my 360 to play the next gen games and my Wii to play any Nintendo games.

How old are you btw? Because if I still where to get stuff from my parents (which is not) I would have asked for a 360 to play some hella GTA4.

Your joking right? How many Nintnedo games on the Wii are clones of their GC versions or DS ? I think you mean if your looking for new types of games go for a 360 if you looking for clones of the same games remade with small changes get a Wii.

Ok my parents are talking about buying me a new system. they have asked me about the wii and i dunno about it. is it really worth the money or should i not waste my time?

if i happen to get this wii what are some good games on it? i know that i am going to get twilight princess on the wii and smash brothers brawl, but what else?

truly depends on your taste. if you want my personal opinion, i would say to get a 360 or a ps3 better games better online play, and always get downloadable content. if you're more on the casual side and dont mind playing just nintendo made games or casual games in general, then get a wii. but i would suggest if you want the best gaming experience then get both consoles but get 1 of the other 2 before you get the wii.

if i'm not mistaken, before the wii came out, miyamoto encouraged people to pick up one of the other consoles

Wii is great but if u want to play some more hardcore games with better graphics get a 360 or PS3. If ur not 2 hardcore and just want a games console to have fun get a wii. PwnMaster94

Im sorry, you failed, you are not hardcore. Hardcore means playing the crap out of every game you own.

Hardcore doesn't equal graphics. It's sad to see that so many people think it does.

Your joking right? And i'm honest because what you just said has very little credibility or truth to it at all. Yes, they continue games on the wii that might have been on a previous system, but if that was "cloning" Ratchet and Clank, Halo, and other titles would all be clones.

My advice to the TC, just do some research on the internet, or ask your local gamestop about them. Look at some of the games and decide what games you might like to play. All 3 are great systems, it's just up to you on which one you want

the wii is defintly a good buy, but if you dont own a 360 i would get that first, then get a wii. just avoid the ps3 at all cost that was the worst purchase i have ever made and sold it within 3 weeks.ugotplayed64

i agree with u, its fun for like a month at the very most for me then i played it like 3 times for the rest of the yr then i got ssbb i played it for like a week. imo get a 360 bcuz it is just better with games, most games on the wii suck imo

What consoles have you owned before, and what kind of games do you like? The Wii is definitely worth a shot though. I enjoy mine alot, especially lately with some great games coming out.

If you already have a PS3 or a 360, go ahead. Though I would suggest owning one of the more "hardcore" systems before you dedicate yourself to a Wii.GSU28
