I do not think the 3D can damage your eyes. They warn people whose eyes are still developing, but I'm pretty sure playing the 3DS is fine for those too.

If you get a bad headache or something while your playing you should probably stop playing for a little bit, but i personally haven't had any problems with the 3d, if it doesn't bother you its probably safe

I've never had any problems with the 3DS and I always play with the 3D on max. Though I don't normally play for more than 30 minutes at a time, however that will all change when a huge RPG (that I want) comes out.

I've always played with the 3D on. It did take a week to get used to. I remember getting eye strain and a headache during that first week with Pilotwings. However, after that i've been fine with it. No headaches, no strain, no problems. I've not often gone beyond a 2 hour stint with any 3D compatible title, but that probably has more to do with the battery life than anything else lol.

Wikipedia says it's dangerous for tiddly-winks under 6 years old. Other than that, I keep it off since it gives me headaches.

Well 3D can seriously damage your eyes if you're not careful. I never put the 3D on the 3DS because I don't want to put my eyes at risk because I already wear glasses.

Unless you can get seizures, have a headaches, or have young eyes, it's safe to play 3D at full blast. I've been playing the 3DS & I've yet to have any problems with my eyes or health.

The side effects of playing w/ 3D on are ringing in the ears followed by a splitting headache. You then wake up w/o identification in a foreign land w/ no memory of how you got there. I got my 3DS at launch and this has happened to me countless times. My family is dead and I am posting this from Istanbul. I stopped into an internet cafe to look up the nearest embassy and thought I might stop and chat about games for a few minutes in the meantime.

Would it hurt if I say that I giggled at this? :P It's not dangerous unless you're a real young young 'un, as in, REALLY YOUNG  . I keep it off because I get headaches, although it's not true for everyone. Another reason is that it's problematic. You change the angle slightly and the effect gets ruined.
