Is it too late for a DS now?

I know what most of you are going to say but ive been thinking of getting a DS for awhile now and im wondering should i get one or not now. Im afraid i left it too long to buy one cus the DS has been out since 2004 and next year maybe they might upgrade the DS to a better handheld console. I know Nintendo are dominating in the handheld market lately but that dosnt mean theystillwontcome out with a new handheld system soon just so to boost more sales for nintendo. I dunno is it really worth getting one now?

If you don't buy one then when are you going to get one? You aren't going to get a system on release cos the support sucks, so you wait...and wait...and in the end you never buy anything.

Just take the plunge and get one, plenty of games on it and plenty coming. If they do announce a new machine it will still be a year and a half before it is out and has decent support on it, and even then DS support will continue for a while.

There isn't a new DS coming out next year, not even a hint of a rumor. If there were, then no it isn't too late to buy one, there's really no such thing as a 'too late' to buy any console, it all depends on what you want to play.ringbling

ok. all the rage? what r u? 80?anyways. nds is about to get some awesome games games that r going to make it better then consoles. dude. there are a million or more people(including me)who r going to get a ds soon because of the games that are coming out soon. why fear the unconfirmed future?

Wait? When did they say they were going to make a MapleStory DS.

I highly doubt a cheap website trying make an MMO would try to make a DS game.
