Hey guys, now that christmas is over, i have some leftover cash, enough to buy another game. I was wondering if I should buy AC: City Folk. I have the gamecube and DS versions(without wifi) but I have my wii online. But is there enough new content for a 50$ game? I want to try out wifi, seeing as i didn't have it on the DS, but do that many people use it, or even Wii Speak?

people have different opinions on it, but IMO it looks like agreat game and is totally worth 50 bucks.

i personally think it's worth the $50, but opinions do vary. if you've played the first two, you may find the new one a little familiar.

are you considering any other games?

People have two general views about City Folk: a) it's a rehash of all the others or b) A great game to the franchise. If you think that ACWW was a little too much like the first, than it might not be a wise idea. However, between CF, Shaun White, and RB, I would probably go for CF and get Rock Band on a different console if possible. Shaun White isn't that great imo. If you don't have another system, it's your call really.

out of those three i would say Animal Crossing > Rock Band > Shaun White.

If you have the gamecube and DS versions and played through those a lot then City Folk will feel very repetitive to you. I personally think it's a great game but I only ever played a little bit of the GC one and never played the DS one. Just so you know, the three big new features for City Folk are the city, the real world clock, and the online. The real world clock is cool I like it, the online is just like the DS online but you said you never played that so it might be fun for you. And the city blows. There really isn't much there. Anyways your call but I think since you owned the first two City Folk might feel like more of the same to you.

the real world clock isn't new lol. Animal Crossing has always been the same time as the real world. And yeah I had the DS version, just without wifi, cuz my STINKIN WIFI USB CONNECTOR IS GARBAGE!
