Well, I guess you're not one of the guys who needs to have everything ASAP (like myself ^^) so I'd say wait a bit, launch titles are ok, but there's a lack of new titles in the comming months :S Nothing you really miss out if you wait half a year

Wait until summer, that's when the big games come out (OoT, Star Fox, etc.)

It's worth it if you enjoy the titles. Library's a bit thin ATM but I'm still enjoying Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars and Samurai Warriors Chronicles.

Not sure why people recommend this. It won't be any cheaper this summer so if you plan to get it then you may as well get it now and play those extra months if there's anything at all that interests you now

Tell me where I said it would be cheaper this summer....that's right, I never said it. I'm just saying that there will be better games out

If you wait until summer when some games are released, they might be short inventory on the 3DS system?

There's alot still on the shelves, but with the Japan crisis it's not out of the realm of possibility.

You should wait until June 19 so you can buy the 3DS with Zelda.

Short answer: no. Long answer: Out of the current 3DS line-up, there is nothing that would be considered a "must buy" or a system seller. Wait until you see a game that you really want, or find that the system has enough games that you find worthwhile to warrant a purchase. This could mean waiting till mid-summer, the holiday season, or perhaps even the next holiday season. Also, ignore any users crying shortage.

I made a mistake and bought mine. I just play my older DS games on it. I would recommend you only get it if you see 4-5 games worth getting on the 3DS.

i would also say wait a bit, since you already have. some good titles are coming up, or if you can wait for the 3ds lite or the newer model, because it should be a nice upgrade. but once again if you see a title you really want like the LoZoOT remake then by all means buy one now.

The lack of titles until May 22 are killing it for me right now. Maybe at the end of May I'll grab one.

Get it. The games so far may not be so good, but why wit for better titles while you can play all the preloaded features NOW. The 3DS already has AR games, and face raiders on it. Those games really show what the 3DS can offer.

Did you bother to read my whole post before getting snotty about one statement in it? You haven't added any reason for waiting. The typical reasons for waiting to buy a system that you know you plan to purchase are basically two: 1. price drop or 2. no games you are interested in. You didn't ask if he was interested in any of them, you imposed your belief that there is nothing fun to play. As I said... if theres anything that intereses you NOW you may as well get it and enjoy it all these months while AvatarMan sits in jealousy wishing he had one ;)

I honestly don't understand the "wait until there are more games out" argument. The 3DS acts as a backwards compatible DS (although a drop in resolution is noticeable), so if you find there's nothing you want for it yet, you can still use it for your current DS games and enjoy a sleek looking system. There are already games out there worth playing (SSFIV, Ghost Recon, Pilotwings [IMO]), so you can at least play something designed for the 3DS until what you really want comes out. And think of this... why not just pay 250 for it now, and that way when it's time to get the games you want, you only have to pay 40 per title instead of 40 per title plus the 250 for the system? If you're hoping to wait for a price drop...you've got at least a full year (and no, Nintendo won't drop the price when the NGP comes out). If there's at least one title you want for the 3DS this year, get it now, unless you just can't afford it.

If you can afford one, like some of the launch games and want one go and buy one. You might as well buy the system now rather than waiting for the big games and having to those games and the system at the same time. It's up to you though.

Yes. It's not going to drop in price anytime soon. Might as well pick it up now.
