I have animal crossing wild world and i enjoy it a lot and i still play it. I got it around august or september. I was wondering if it is worth to ask for animal crossing city folk for wii for christmas? Is City Folk better than Wild World? Details about online would be appreciated. Does Nintendo still send iteams to City Folk or Wild W?orld Thanks everyone for your time and help!

If you still play Wild World, you probably don't need City Folk. The game is virtually the same, except some of the visiting characters (Redd, Katrina, etc.) are in a city now, there's less dialogue (although what's there is pretty funny), and apparently animals don't give you their picture anymore.

Wi-fi is good; basically the same as Wild World but with voice chat, which works pretty well actually. But if you're still satisfied with your Wild World experience, don't worry about City Folk.

I have both games and although City Folk is quite similar, I still find it quite enjoyable. But since you've only started playing Wild World recently, I wouldn't worry too much about getting City Folk right now.

I have both WW and CF, and I love CF. My wife and daughter still are playing both games.

The game is very similar its just that there is new furniture and new types of neighbors. You can also get new masks and the way you design T- shirts and umbrellas are different, you can design the sleeves the back and the front of the T- shirt seperatly and you can change your face into your mii and change it back. Some of the new furniture is much harder to get than the old one so the game is more challenging such as an example would be to buy the furniture at a new store in the city called "GracefulGracie" or whateever. To buy the full set of furniture in the store is 1.7 million bells. You can also visit the fortune teller and the crazy fox guy without waiting, but some of the furniture that was not for sale in the DS game won't go with you if you transfer from the ds so you will have the get them again. They also include some of the holidays that were skipped in the old version such as easter sunday, halloween, thanksgiving (I don't remember getting to celebrate thanksgiving in the ds), and so forth. Sadly they don't have the NS games anymore, I heard this was because you can play them on the wii by buying them such as super mario bros and the first game of legend of zelda, and that is also the reason why it is not on the ds. Some of the old wandering towns folk such as wisp are back in the game. The neighbors have slightly changed they don't give you an to refuse to talk to them. They normally just talk to you about something that has gone wrong, and they will only repeat if you talk to them again. Though those are the only slight differences you can also play games with your neighbors or help them with their problems. I have only discovered hide and seek and finding their house key but there is probrably more. I recommend you buy this game if you don't have anything to do in wild world and you don't want to delete your file, but if you want to continue playing wild world you should not buy this game.
