I'm asking this on behalf of the sales of his most recent games: Kirby: Canvas Curse and Kirby: Squeak Squad, which sold very well in Japan, but horribly in western markets. Kirby: Canvas Curse didn't even make it to one million worldwide, despite praising reviews and Kirby: Squeak Squad only placed 10th for DS NPD sales in December, which was the game's release month.

Compare this to Kirby: Air Ride and his GBA games, which sold over 1 and a half million units worldwide. What is happening to my favorite inhailer?!

I just think we need to see something new thats why canvis curse did so good and was so well recived, Squeak squad didn't and i think just at this time people want some thing new, . if Nintendo did something new like CC im suere Kirby will be popular here in North America once more.

I love kirby but the DS games that came out are just to far away from the origional that I am completely uninterested in them. They should just keep the classic game play with some new features.

Was Kirby even all that popular to begin with? I mean, are there people who'll buy something solely because it has Kirby in it, without it being a quality game on top of that?

Nintendo should just keep the same old platforming but maybe in 3D. And no. Not 3D Kirby and 2D backrounds. ALL 3D.

Kirby Superstar is not only the best Kirby game, its also one of the best games period.  Until Hal manages to recreate that Smash Brothers feeling in a kirby game again (seriously superstar feels like smash brothers) I don't think I'll come back to him.

I can't get enough of that cute little pink puffball. Squeak Squad is so great. I got to see if I can get by hands on Canvas Curse.

Yes. Me. I used to watch the show every Saturday morning before I learned that Saturdays are meant for sleeping. I never missed an episode. I bought SS, completed it, completed extra for a time of about 2:44 all in about a week and now it sits on my game shelf doing nothing perhaps forevermore. I play as Kirby all the time in SSBM despite the fact that Nintendo screwed him over as a character. Why do I do this? Because he's just SO cute!!!

Kirby wasn't very popular to begin with.  To be quite honest, anyone who owns the original three Gameboy games is probably a Cult game collector (or me, who had an awesome grandma).  Kirby peaked on the SNES, but after the atrocious 64 game, people kinda became leary of the 2 1/2 D genre.   Castlevania and Kirby, two awesome games from the past that live on in the hearts of handhelds everywhere!
