I'm all for another 3d metroid, cause all the prime series was excellent,but it won't be called prime 4 i don't think because the prime trilogy's story arc came to a close with corruption. Look instead for something that keeps the core gameplay of corruption in a new adventure.

*faceplam* no dude Zero Mission was the original Metroid game remade for the gba. It changed things from the original Metroid game but it was a remake.
To everyone saying Prime was a trilogy I don't think he meant for an exact sequel to Prime, but what would essentially be the 4th 3D installment, which, I think would be a great idea, a game where Ridley (or Meta-Ridley) could be the final boss, or some new space pirate altogether
The should to a Metroid X series. With the X parasite as the bad. or even a game where metroid prim comes back and u have to take on Metroid Prime and SA-X
Honestly, as a Metroid fanboy I can only say that YES I absolutely think a fourth Prime would be spectacular!!! Granted any new Metroid would get the job done for me, a 3rd person adventure, 2d sidescroller, or a Metroid Hunters for the Wii...all would betotally rad in my book. But as Prime and Prime3 are my top 2 favorite games of all time, and Prime 2 comes in at around four or five, I'd be silly not to want another "Prime" game. It was a trilogy but c'mon, it's not like they couldn't find a way to make another story that fits right in. Here's hoping for a new Metroid adventure of any kind!!!...........
The Prime series is over. There will be another 3-D Metroid in the future that may pick up just where Corruption left off but it won`t be a Prime game though. The Metroid games are not released in a correct order related to the timeline so the next game could go anywhere within the overall plot of the series I guess it just wouldn`t fit between the 3 Prime games.
maybe they will make a metroid game for wii similar to brawl. kind of like multiplayer in prime 2 but with the option to make your own custom suit. for example, color1 and color2, and space pirate or galactic fedaration trooper, similar to human or elite in halo 2. also, different game styles like halo 2 as well, such as king of the hill. sounds cool dont it?
It would be sort of silly to label the next 3D Metroid game with the "Prime" subtitle when,as far as canon and story is concerned,the titular Metroid Prime is gone.
