My internet connection is working fine and I've played both mario kart and metriod on my ds online. So I was going to play some today and while Im trying to find a game to play i get disconnected and I'm given an error so since I know I have my ds set up correctly, and my internet is working I was wondering if perhaps nintendo's servers were down. Oh and I'm in the United States, in California if that matters.
If you are given an error it has a code number. Search the nintendo.com website for the error code to see what the error means. If it is not listed use the power of google.
Well I'm not sure what is going on because I just tried playing a psp game online and it wouldn't connect so I'm guessing its a firewall issue, but I've played before on the same set up and I haven't changed a single thing and now all of a sudden it won't work. I tried connecting to the internet through my psp and that works, so I'm not sure what to do at this point.
I wasn't sure what it was either at first, so I typed it in on google and found a forum with everyone having the same problem and error code (85020) and a nintendo person saying just wait untill it gets back up (or something like that).
Servers likely being upgraded. The amount of traffic has been increasing hence more demand on the servers. Also they have to do maintance on them from time to time. It's perfectly normal.
same here well kinda, not sure if myDS is working but my isWii giving me an error when i try to play somebody online on Mario Strikers Charged but i can go on the Internet channel and stuff
