I can't wait 4 hours to play more Animal Crossing but I don't want to anything that might be bad for my battery. I'm thinking it's ok and I just want to make sure.

No I do it all the time, it even says in the manual that you can. Don't worry about it and play.I can't wait 4 hours to play more Animal Crossing but I don't want to anything that might be bad for my battery. I'm thinking it's ok and I just want to make sure.

No problem, if you wanna add me check out my profile for my info. Send me yours as well that way I can add you.My boyfriend teases me when I have to plug it in to continue playing. He's like, "If you played it enough to kill the battery, don't you think you should give it a break for awhile???" ;)Bonochicklol there are no such things as breaks if the game is that good.
[QUOTE="Yarcofin"]I try to actually play it until it fully runs out before I charge it most of the time. This goes for anything with a built-in battery pack like cordless phones too. They will wear out a lot quicker if you charge them when they're still full. Something happens inside the battery that kinda sets up a wall, so basically if you do it enough, your battery won't charge past 1/4 of the way.NotAFurry
wow thanks i dint know that i always played mine till it turned red now i wont thanks again
If ninty is not lying to sell extra batteries faster, then consider those true.Does the battery have to be totally depleted before I can charge it? We recommend charging the battery pack completely before its first use, or after you have not used it for a long time (the battery should be recharged at least once every six months). It takes about three hours--with the unit turned off--to fully charge the battery. Other than these two instances, you can recharge the battery pack at ANY TIME. The Nintendo DS Lite's power light will change from green to red when the battery life is around 30%. Note: The unit should not be left uncharged for long periods of time. Leaving it uncharged for long periods (months) may shorten the battery life. As with all batteries, the charge will slowly dissipate if not re-charged, even if it's not turned on.
I'm pretty sure that's one of the pluses of having a charger, you can play while it charges. I did it heaps with my SP and it still works perfect. :)Skater710Always did this to!
