Call of Duty is a good but short game. It is also very chaotic and It can be hard to tell your squadmates from your enemies. Just prepare to die about 99.9 percent of the time by grenade.

[QUOTE="beto22323"]i have both, both are just amazing... if you can afford both, you should get them...AlexSaysI've played both and think they suck. So I'm not sure he should spend $100 on a whim. I don't know how you could say COD sucks. It's an amazing Wii game with awesome controls, great graphics, fun online play, and chaotice, intense battles. What was wrong with it, and can you name any better shooters for the Wii?

The controls are nothing above mediocre.
The gameplay consists of evading grenades every two and a half seconds.
And Medal of Honor Heroes 2 beats it in every single category besides graphics, which is least important to me.

The controls are outstanding. They are better than MP3's controls. The online is far more diverse than Medal of Honor's and the graphics are important in a war game because they make the game more realistic. This game is an outstanding game in every way. If you can't evade the grenades, then either stick to the easy level or play online. I just wish the online had 32 people like Medal of Honor. Other than that, this is one of the best fps on the Wii!What infatuation? I simply said it had great controls. You have ignored that.santiagochileAnd I said it doesn't have great controls. Something that has been said by any reviewer on the internet. You disregard that and say it does. It's like me saying my car is blue, when in fact, it is blue. Yet you say it's red.
So now, are you going to answer the question? What is wrong with the controls??? santiagochileThe IR functionality doesn't respond nearly as quick as Medal of Honor. Throwing a grenade accurately was near impossible. The only weapon that controlled great was the flamethrower. There was not one area in which COD's controls were better, or anywhere near as good as Medal of Honor's. To say it was better than Metroid Prime is even more absurd and proves my theory the only thing worse than COD games are the fans they produce.

Maybe you didn't adjust the settings. You could turn around in a fraction of the time. I never had a problem with the grenades. It must just have been you. The game controlled very fast, in fact I have found it easier to hit someone online than with MOHH. I think you are just trolling, and this is a great game!

You know, you should be happy they even gave you a grenade danger indicator; there isn't one in a real war you know. That is the point of grenades, if you aren't paying attention to all you surroundings, you die, like in a war. Besides, grenades make a noise when landing on the floor and someone always yells "Grenading!" or "Throwing Moltatov!". That is your own problem that you have to overcome. Unless you are talking about the "Martyrdom" perk online in which you have to remember that someone might throw a live grenade when killed. Although they too make a noise when dropped. Once you aren't a newb online, grenades aren't a problem.

Something that has been said by any reviewer on the internet. You disregard that and say it does. It's like me saying my car is blue, when in fact, it is blue. Yet you say it's red. I quote Bozon in IGN's review in saying the controls are high above average. The only problem he had was with the responsiveness of aiming down the sight however the hip fire controls were just as good as MoH:H2's, if you have seen the Video Review. So controls go to MoH:H2 respectively but you can't ignore that the controls for this game are much better than the PS3/360 version of the game. This game has MoH:H2 beat in Online (Besides # of players), Graphics, and campaign. The controls are pretty darn but can be better, let's hope Infinity Ward makes Modern Warfare 2 for Wii and streamlines the controls even better. The other faults you listed are just based on personal experience which can easily be overcomed by some practice.

1.) I don't play online.
2.) I love how everyone thinks I'm bad at the game because the grenades are the ONLY thing that screwed me up.
In most instances, the gunfights were too loud to hear any sort of noise from the grenade hitting the floor and there aren't always people screaming about a grenade.
The indicator itself is extremely light, and isn't visible unless you're looking DIRECTLY at it.
3.) Real war?
I didn't know you played war games to experience REAL war.
You know what else they don't have in war? Respawns. :|

Calm down, I never said you were bad. Newb is a new player, Noob is a bad player. However it should be somewhat realistic, unless you want war games to have rainbow bullets and a paintball gun; I am not saying it should be completely realistic because that is impossible however it should be close to what it is trying to portray. As far as grenades go, that is your personal problem, I can hear them fine. If you do not play online then of course the game will seem mediocre to you, online is the best part. If it did not have respawn, then it would not be a game anymore. In campaign, they yell out quite frequently and it is pretty loud. Also, you are exaggerating about getting killed with a grenade every 2.5 seconds, that is completely ridiculous.TC if you have a 360 I suggest you get WaW for it instead of the Wii.
I have the game for the 360 and its a blast. I've played the Wii version at a friends house and its great. Its just stripped down. However, the online is were the game really shines regardless of what console you play it on so I'd say go for it.
Is all about the pointer controls. Pointer controls >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> dual analog. BTW, CoD:WaW (Wii) is a great game, i recomend it.TC if you have a 360 I suggest you get WaW for it instead of the Wii.

I think this problem is just you. I can avoid the grenades most of the time, and it seems most people here can. Also, who wants to play a game without respawns?? That makes no sense, at all. COD is a great game for Wii!Please Log In to post.
