Not exactly scary or freaky, but there will be parts where you'll be all
"Hahaha, silly ppl *Shotguns* WHAT THE DEUCE?!?! AH!!! *shotgun, shotgun, shotgun, shotgun, shotgun, reload, shotgun, shotgun, shotgun, shotgun* huff, puff, damn scare out of no where!!!"
Ok, that's a bit of a exageration, but certain parts will have you wanting to do that.

That is so true. When in doubt take out the shoty.
Can't forget the flaming man in the kitchen! Biggest jump you get in the whole game.Just wait until you get to the little prison. That was the scariest part for me. Be sure to open the dumpster.
Other memorable parts are the invisible bugs, wolves, village at night, and Salazar's right hand. Good times.

I didn't think Bioshock scared me at all. There were some parts in the game that were just really weird and messed up but other that it was not scary.
However I never played the Resident Evil for Wii because I don't have one at the moment. But the old Resident Evil's for PS2 and such.. ugh.. they were scary..

I did forget... So many good/scary parts can't remember them all.
regenerators are the worst for me, and the music that plays when you meet one is horrible too.
also salazar's right hand and the monster at the cage that is suspendedin the air are horrible moments too. (all of this is horrible until you get the chicago typewriter of course) =D

The dumpster part wasnt scary, or made me jump, but it simply was disturbing. I dont see why people jump from that.. I was actually kinda laughing when that guy was running around in flames. The only part in the game I jumped was when I gunned the regenerators legs off, and he goes hoping up towards me and bites my neck.[QUOTE="gotdangit"][QUOTE="rcignoni"][QUOTE="gotdangit"]Can't forget the flaming man in the kitchen! Something that's really scary is when Regenerators start to run-walk at you. I never get enough time to snipe the parasites before it gets to me.The regenerators scare me a lot. I killed 3 of them and thought it was over. Nope, an iron maiden came, an even scarier regenerator.Kuhu
tell me about it everytime i see those regenerators i piss my pants a little :?
there are 2 things that scare me in that game
1. Well I don't want to ruin it for the surprise but read on if you wish. When you go in that kitchen and the dude comes out of the oven on fire. I was like "OH ****!!!!!!" and freaked out.
2. Regenerators. They scare me. I know where they are, I know how to kill them, I know when I can run past them, I don't care every time I see one I wanna crap myself. Nothing brings me more dread than that creepy breathing whenever I hear it "oh god no..."
Seriously? It is not scary at all. It made me jump once or twice, but I was really alert(Mountain Dew FTW). But MP3:C made me jump many many times(but its not scary either). I don't really know why though, I guess its cuz its so immersive.BubbyJelloMetroid Prime 3......METROID PRIME 3........Not scary.........AT ALL.......I hate how now matter how far away from the Regenerators you are you can still hear them breathing
re4 is the best game ive ever played and yes its somewhat freaky parts of it are its bloody thats all i know jznj03yjzn
I second that! The first time I saw the chainsaw /machine gun freaks i was scared lol. Well not scared, its only a game but I did laugh when he cut off my head haha.

There are definetely some moments when I had to pause the game because it was very intense, even playing throught it again on the wii.
It has a certain atmosphere to it. But realy thats irrelevent. this is one of the best games ever and you should get it.Decacon
I agree. The mood and atmosphere of the game are incredible. There is no other game quite like RE4 right now atleast until RE5 comes out.

I know MP3:C isn't scary, I even said that in my post. I always though the breathing made them way less scary, because you always knew when one was near.

I love RE4, but I didn't think it was scary. Suspensful, atmospheric? Definitey. Same with Bioshock. But both are AAA games that should be played regardless. The original Silent Hill (before the formula was beaten to death) was genuinely scary. And the RE Remake for Gamecube is up there, too, but in a different way.
