is red steel worth $60 australian.

So i found a catalog where it had wii games for 40% off. I just bought strikers and am planning n buying mario party 8, so i dont really want to fork out too much money, but if red steel is worth it at this discount im going to seriously consider buying it.

Ya wii games in Canada are around 55-60 canadian which is stupid, i'll be p****d if were still paying more then americans when our dollar is higher then theres. I'll just start shipping them from the U.S. if this keeps up.

But anyways, I heard it's worth it for 30 bucks, but definity not 60.

I havent played red steel but i've heard bad things about it and seeing as games like Zelda are the same price you can easily get some better games for your $$.

Same here. I thought that it was a fun game. But I can see why some people don't like it, so I say if you can rent it, then that's what you should do. And if you do, give it a while to get used to the controls. When I first got it, I thought it sucked, but then got used to the controls and liked it.

Ok, term break is coming so just rent it for a couple of overnights and beat it.

lol, yerp, its form the Big W. I have zelda, great game... and wario wre i borrowed from a freind..... it lost its touch after a few nights. But none the less,still a good game.

I bought it for $100.

Red Steel was really an amazing game. Considering they built it on a Gamecube and then tried to overhaul the graphics and tack on wii controls, it turned out surprisingly good (good enough that a sequel is in the works). Everyone's main problem is that they try to play it like a run and gun FPS. It's not. It's a shoot out FPS ... you take cover and then shoot at the guys aiming at you. The level of difficulty is high, the weapons are awesome ... the story is pretty shallow and blah, but overall it was really a tremendously fun game to play once you got use to it. The amount of things that can be destroyed or blown up ... THAT was a big highlight. Fire fights got SO MUCH MORE intense.

60 Australian bucks is pretty damn high for any game in my opinion, though. But Red Steel is definitely a game you should check out some time ... just spend a few hours playing it and remember -- dont try to run and gun, and you'll like it, I think.
