Yes it is, they anounced it at last years E3. and why does wikipedia not count? I got this link: http://wii.ign.com/articles/707/707504p1.html from wikipedia's sources which confirms it for online. Wikipedia is fine as long as you check the sources.

It was never officially announced. It has been hinted at and people have assumed it will have online. A while back they did say that they'd like to have it online. But they have not said anything about it having online any time recently.
I'm guessing it won't have online. They talked about SSBB at the press conference. They also had a huge thing about Nintendo Wi-Fi talking about how serious they are about online. Don't you think they would have mentioned that their biggest upcoming game is an online title? I think they are waiting until after E3 to drop they bomb on all of us that it won't have online. My guess is they sacrificed online to get it out in 2007. Personally, I never thought it would be released this year.
