The single player is pretty long, if you want to get all nine endings. It's a very good game in my opinion.

Once you get the hang of the touch screen controls, it's pretty cool! The way they mapped the fire command to any button certainly helps the comfort level when you play. I would have liked some levels that were 'on rails' instead of everything being open but that's only a small complaint. I'd recommend the game.

Sorry, but I think Starfox was the most disappointing game on the DS thus far. I wouldn't even cross the street to take a dump on that game. That's just my opinion though. ;)

I personally had fun with it, I like the touch-screen controls, I feel that they work quite well.

The results seem to indicate that it's a little 'all of the above'. I've been playing mostly EBA but when I do play Starfox I've been having a bit of a problem with it. I feel a little spastic with it that is but maybe i just have to get used to it a little more. I read a review that said it was too easy but like i said right now I'm still a little slow with getting my bearings.

I picked "Awesome"

I loved this game.  I was stupid and let the reviews get to me at first; i had been a huge fan of the original and the n64 version and so i thought that i could pass this one up for a while.. but when i did finally pick it up in october i couldn't put it down.  I played it exclusively for hours on end until i finished every ending, and i didn't rush it.

A portion of why i loved the game so much is due to how i played the game.  What i mean by that is that the game only forces you to kill a select few enemies rather then clearing everything and the missles you get in the game are too useful.  However, i played the game without using missles and i attempted to kill every enemy, not jsut achieving the "stars".  By playing like this, i found it more challenging then it seems most did(though still far from unbearable or anything) and got to enjoy the combat much more.

Personally, i feel the controls are AMAZING.  They are so much fun you simply have to try it for yourself.  The story of the game is also interesting.  More deep then you would expect, though sometimes too melodramatic.  It also has lots of replay value due to the numerous endings and trying out the different fighters is a nice change from the traditional star fox games on the snes/n64.  The game has its faults, and those expecting an onrails shooter won't be getting that.  The strategy portions are actually fun, but they are not challenging enough; you don't have to plan/think as much as you should.. that is, it is too forgiving.  At the very least, this game is worth a rent and a  handful of hours to get the hang of the controls.. you have to play this game, and you have to give the ds controls for it a chance; they are fun!

Its pretty good.  It is better to not build on your expectations of the game.  If you take the game for what it is you will like it.
