If it's not too much different from the original Paper Mario (the only one I own) then I don't think I need to get it. After I got like 75% of the way down with Paper Mario, I got kinda bored with it and set it aside for a while and eventually beat it. And since there are many games I want to get right now, is SPM worth my time and money? Any advice would be great. Thanks. :)
It's totally worth it. If I understand correctly, the first few Paper Mario games were RPGs, while this one is a platformer, with a few tiny RPG elements (like leveling up and using items). I say go for it.
Oh it is? So... by Platformer you mean like sidescroller style right? I saw the whole 2D to 3D thing which is interesting... but I kinda liked the RPG feel. Do you know if the new platformer style works well in this game?
It works really well. I would say that it is one of the most engaging games that the Wii has received so far. In fact, I would say it is the second greatest Wii game, behind only Zelda.
The other two games that I'm considering are SSX Blur which I want for sure, but do you know if I should just rent Medal of Honor: Vanguard? I heard it was quite short. :/
It was great, at first. The first few levels were absolutely amazing, and then it started dragging. After the space level, The design stops being clever. The later levels turn into one tedious fetch quest after another. The levels aren;t designed as well, the game stops being as funny, and its just no longer that much fun.

I got to Chapter 7 yesterday, and I played the game MAYBE 15 minutes today. I have to take it back tomorrow and don't even care if I finish it. I am having a blast playing Punch Out However.Â

That's not the same case for mez. The levels get better and better, each being more immersive and engaging than the next. I can say taht I'm completely addicted to this game. I mean, if you can spend 3 hours getting to level 100 on the Pit of 100 Trials and then die, have to do the WHOLE thing over again, and STILL absolutely LOVE the game, it must be one helluva game, and it isz.
I've seen the commercials for it and it looks really inventive. The way you can change the dimensions seems awesome. If you're not sure if you really want it I always try renting it first. That's how I found out about basically all of my favorite games.

There is a lot of dialogue, but I don't view that as a bad thing because its written extremely well. I garuntee that you will have a few good laughs with this game.

I felt the same exact way... after awhile I just got tired of the dialogue and keot pressing buttons too skip it... its a good game but it isn't one of those games that you think about once you stop playing
man whoever said that they spent 3 hours on the pit of trials and was ok doing it over again is crazy... I got sick of that stupid pit after the 20th level its retarded
