Is the 3DS...

Sorry if this is obvious lol but im still a bit unclear about this. Is the 3DS Nintendo's Next Gen handheld like the jump from GBA to DS. Or is it another upgrade like the jump from DS to DS lite?

not so sure but I remember reading this somewhere on the Internet... It is an upgrade but 3D games has special kind of format of blah blah meaning that the not all games will be in 3D... Only the ones that are formated/made for 3D.

There was also technically two incarnations of the SP: The initial frontlit model, and then later a backlit version.

Its pretty good, but it seems too reasonable. See if you were to put release dates it would show how lately the DS versions are going out of control. In like 3 months theres been 3 new DS's come out.heath005

Even with the dates....It's the same pattern to me :/

I think the 3ds is going to be awesome but hopefully it dosnt turn out lame at first like the original ds did and then get better later down the track. The transition should be to a new series of consoles seeing as the graphics are being enhanced dramatically, out doing its predecessor consoles.

It is a next gen handheld. The name 3DS is temporary till E3 as well

i hope it has way better graphics,better games,and a better online system,like leader boards, voice chat with people not on your friend list,NO FRIEND CODES,so you can add people,a party thing,like you can send a invite to someone on ur list then join a random match,but yea,i really dont care for 3D,just that it will be more high tech,btw will it be more high tech then the psp? OTHER then it will be in 3d?

i might get it,but ill wait for the reviews first of it,so i dont waiste my money on something that is bad,so i hope it comes out fast and it will be good

is E3 for all the games and game systems,or just nintendo?

So what are peoples thoughts on release games for the 3DS. I'm thinking a new ProfessorLayton, Nintendogsand maybe Pokemon Black and White but another game that would work very well would be Animal Crossing.
