This obviously goes out to anyone who has the Classic Controller Pro. I already have a regular classic controller and was going to revisit the two N64 Zeldas on my Wii and was wondering if there is a big difference between the comfort of the original Classic Controller and the Pro and if it's worth spending $25 if I already have the original.

I own the pro, and it's great. The regular classic controller feels good to me, kinda like the SNES controller while the pro feels like a PSX/PS2/PS3 controller.

Compared to the original Classic Controller, it's so much more comfortable imo.

If it sucks someone say so, so I don't open it right now :P. I have sitting before me a black Wii, classic controller pro, wiimote+, nunchuck, charger stand, and some plastic peripheral crap. I am now thinking, shall I open it and make it mine forever, or think about it just in case I want to return it (making sure I don't regret buying a Wii). yeah I know that was off topic, but I had to share. :P

Back on topic, the controller looks pretty nice and I liked the classic controller. I just have my doubts that is is gamecube comfertable.

I have used both. The pro is better, but because I already have the regular classic controller, I didn't feel like getting it. They both do the same thing. But now I actually use the GC controller the most. One, it doesn't require batteries. Two, it's better.

It definately is more comfortable than the classic but.... I wouldn't use either to play Zelda or any N64 game for that matter. Playing through Zelda I found the CC or CCP just didn't work. The gamecube was definately do-able but I kept wishing I had an N64 for a more natural and nostalgic feeling. I missed the Z targeting, proper C buttons(playing the ocarina with the gamecube cbutton joystick felt silly), and the anolog was waaay too sensitive and made aiming with things like the bow and hookshot slow and frustrating. So basically I recommend the gamecube or if you got money to splurge (and a living N64 controller) get one of those N64 adapters($20-30) that KBFloyd recommended recently.

It's better. It felt very natural playing Star Fox 64.

After holding it last night I can tell you that it is a pretty comfertable controller. I think in some ways it is better then the gamecube controller, while in others you may not like it as much. All in all it is very well built and feels good.
