Is the DSi worth the upgrade?

I own a DS lite and I am contemplating if I should get a DSi or a PSP 3000.

The DSi looks so fun and most of my friends own it

The PSP has dissidia and crisis core and GOW but I'm getting a PS3 so will buying this be kinda pointless..?

from a ds lite its only worth it if you think youll use the DLC games and camera, however upgrading from a DS phat it is a HUGE improvement and definetly worth the money.

don't get a psp... i want a psp go for FF games on the go but id rather wait for a psp2 or something, cuz that crap is overpriced and the 3000 still isn't good.. u already have the best handheld gaming device anyways :P

just get the ps3 lol dont upgrade from a ds lite to a dsi, i still have a ds phat btw and am contemplating the upgrade to dsi but a new ds2 might come out in the next year so just use ur money on a ps3 is my guess

Although this is a DS forum I will give you my honest opinion.

If you are like me and absolutely LOVE the DS, then a DSi is a good buy and is very fun. But I do like my PSP as well, and if you don't already have one and have a Lite then there is no need to upgrade when you could open up a whole new can of worms, and in a good way. There are plenty of good games for the PSP and if you already have a Lite and it is in working order then don't worry so much about upgrading. :) Hope you have fun with both your DS and your PSP they are both great handhelds that will keep you entertained for years.

I have never played a PSP, but I love playing on my DSi.

However, there are rumors that Ninty will announce a new handheld at the Media Summit next week, so I'd hold off until then.

This question belongs in the System Wars board, because you're discussing more than one system at a time. As upgrading goes, DSi is a big improvement on the Lite, imo. It has the camera, the music player, and of course DSi-ware.
