Well the story ended at prime so the whole story is complete now! So does that mean there wont be any more metroid games ever!? or will the make games that are chronologically in betweem other ones?

The Prime series is done.

But Metroid will continue. There is even a hint at Metroid Dread nearing completion in Prime 3.

I doubt Nintendo wants to let go of one of their biggest series. The Prime series is over. This doesn't mean that the Metroid series is over.

This topic has been done so many times its not even funny anymore. The Prime sub-series ended, meaning there won't be any more Metroid Prime games.

They could do what they did with the Prime series and make another series in between current games, or they could make a prequel to the storyline (something before metroid 1), or even continue the story from fusion (The clones of the X and Metroids and such tell me that we would see some familiar enemies running about). The possibilities are endless.

Geez no need to be hostile or anything, he just asked a question. Also if you just copy and pasted what I said, he would have said that you made a good point. Now he's just going to be angry. :C

They left one part of the story open if you got 100%. Another company could start a new trilogy off that or continue the series.
