Is the Wii good???

it only has a few games worth buying, they rest are Crappy PS2 Ports, Aimed at Kid's, Mini-Game Games or just plain Suck.

But the future is Bright! so dont totaly write the wii off, by this time next year (when devs. finally start looking at it like as real player in this console war) Wii will have Loads of great games.

But if you want to buy a new console, Get a PS3 Now(i would get one if i could afford it, :( ), and get a wii Next year.

It depends what your into. I like the Wii because of the use of the Wiimote to make games more Immersive. The VC with 100 plus good games to download. Quality titles such as Zelda,Mario,Metroid and Battalion wars and doesn't cost the earth.

If you like great online multiplayer above all things buy a X360

If you like 1080p graphics above all things buy a Ps3.

If you want FPS action, Gory, non-stop violence from most of your games, dont get a Wii

People don't seem to realize that the 360 isn't all FPS. In fact, it has a MUCH wider variety of games than Wii or PS3. Ignorance is NOT bliss, people. I'll use the example of J-RPGs. J-RPGs are a niche genre, and yet the 360 has plenty of them. List: Blue Dragon, Eternal Sonata, Cry On, Infinite Undiscovery, Far East of Eden: Ziria, Magna Carta 2, Lost Odyssey, Enchanted Arms, Last Remnant, and the possibility of Star Ocean 4. Compare that to Wii or PS3. What does the PS3 have coming for it that's announced in terms of this genre? Shirokishi Monogatari and FFXIII. The Wii? FF:CC: Crystal Bearers and Opoona. As for other games, what about Viva Pinata, and Dynasty Warriors: Gundam? Kameo? Dead or Alive 4? Do your research before making blind statements like that, please.

i meant general, like - most of the violent-er game are FPS/TPS.

i wasnt saying the 360 only had FPS.

ok, look, first off, your asking nintendo fanboys, that will NEVER EVER say anything bad about the Wii, then again, if you go down to the 360 and PS3 forums, they're going to bash the wii, so just so you know, everyones a bit biased...

if I were you, i would find a friend who has a wii, and experience it for yourself, if you like it, then go ahead and buy one (assuming you can find one), if not, then don't buy it...

Seriously if you have the money buy a PS3 and try it out. I don't,that's why I haven't.

Wii is a cheaper alternative and is definitely worth the money. Good games can be found based on your preferences for any system, including the Virtual Console, or Live Arcade, etc. etc.

Why not save up your money and buy all three with every single game. (cue maniacal laughter)
