I'm sorry you live out of the three major regions, maybe import a Wii from the US so you can play all the games available?

As for the question yes I think it is simply because there's much more competiton these days.

A game is a game no matter how it is played currently the wii has too much family orientated games as opposed to true gaming gold which is the reason i got a wii not to lose weight or get off my "fat ass" why would i want to excersise on a game as opposed to my real life sports like boxing and football?

No, not yet. The N64 still reigns supreme over everything. But with the games coming in 08, it looks like the last,last gen may finally be surpassed.

1. Nintendo games have always family orientated. Mario is a good example.

2.Wii does have fun games. you're just too closed minded to this dumb hardcore crap.

I agree that the SNES was epic, but the N64 had OoT, Smash Bros, Mario Kart, Mario 64, Start Fox 64, Majora's Mask, Pokemon Snap, Donkey Kong 64 and many others. The SNES also had it's fair share of epic titles, but for me gaming is about the games.

Seeing as how the Wii will eventually have most, if not all, worthy games from all previous Nintendo consoles, as well as others, on the VC, I have to say the Wii is the best console they have ever produced, yes. Without a doubt, the Wi is the best Nintendo console, and it's only been out for little over a year, imagine what it'll be like in two years from now.ozzsoad

People only buy these two cause:

1.they want feel good shooting someone with no purpose.

2. They want to do crime on game.

3. They don't have a brain

4. They want to get fat.

i've been reading a lot of Wii bashers... and on some levels i agree... it's still my favorite console ever... to them i say give it time! 3rd party games and support will only grow from here on out and the games will get better and we'll have MORE of them!

Moving on,I say the Wii.Why? I never was a Nintendo fan or anything,but I bought the Wii instead of the PS3 this gen.Why? Because I don't wanna miss out games like NMH,Zack & Wiki,Sonic And The Secret Rings,SMG,MP3,Zelda and SSBB.

Also,since I never had a Gamecube,this is a "Buy 1,get 2" for me :)

Well the whole point of creating a new console is to improve upon the previous one, and in that sense the Wii is the best console. Every system they make has improved graphics, better sound, and tighter gameplay, and the Wii is no exception.

If you also look at it from the completeness and quality of the system's library, then the Wii wins in that category as well. When you take the best games from previous systems and put them on the new one, it counts as part of it's library.
