The Wii and 360 both have a game called Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands. Are they two completely different games with the same name, or is it just a multiplat? The reviews make them sound a bit different...
Thanks!

Same Name, Completely 2 different games. Plus the Wii version gives you the SNES Prince of Persia too.
All wii multiplatform games are inferior to ps3/360

I shouldn't acknowledge someone as ignorant as yourself, but I will. Not all Wii multiplatform games are inferior to PS3/360 versions. One you chose the wrong board to make such a dumb comment on, as this new PoP is rated best for the Wii. Check here if you don't belive me... Give me a bit and I can give you other examples... Just in case you didn't get the memo, a game being output in HD does not make it a better game. Graphics are just a small part of the whole package. I have found many gorgeous games on PS3 and 360 that just don't play well. I would gladly trade in the super pretty graphics for a game that plays well. If you are here to just talk crap about the Wii, go to the system wars board. Also, consider growing up. Real gamers want to play good games on whatever system they are released for. Take a look at my game collection on this site and you'll see what I mean. I have a variety of entries there because I am not sticking with just one system, doing that is stupid. We do live in a free country where it is ok to have more than one game system. Grow Up!
Yeah really, especially since a good chunk of those people probably don't even have their HD consoles hooked up to an HD set. And yes they are completely different games. The story and all the levels are different, and according to reviews are both good games. The wii version was made just for the Wii and uses the pointer for a lot of cool things. I'm actually waiting on the 360 version from Gamefly and then I'm getting the Wii version (that's just the order they sent them to me). It's nice because I get to enjoy 2 Prince of Persia games. It is pretty dumb that the titles are the same, as it creates confusion for all the people who haven't been reading up on it.I t drives me nuts as well when people think a game can't possibly be good or taken seriously just because it doesn't have HD graphics.

I got the game a little while ago for the Wii. It is completely different. Different story, different levels--different gameplay and the obvious difference in controls and visuals.

wow chill, but yes i totally agree with you.
my apologies, I am just tired of Microsoft and Sony Fanboys claiming that their systems have the entire exclusive list of good games... really, just because the Wii's graphics aren't all pretty all the time does not reflect the quality of the games. Last I checked, games have been being played in SD for the majority of their existence... so what is there to say about other games of the past that don't have 1080p visuals, do they suck too? didn't think so... I just wish ppl would get over the imaginary system wars thing...
Very few PS3 or 360 games run in 1080p. Most run in 720p and are unconverted. But yeah you are right. I'm pretty sure the NES had some great exclusives and it ran at 240i.my apologies, I am just tired of Microsoft and Sony Fanboys claiming that their systems have the entire exclusive list of good games... really, just because the Wii's graphics aren't all pretty all the time does not reflect the quality of the games.
