IS the Wii Right for Me???

No. Maybe in a few years, but right now there aren't enough games that you'd like that you couldn't get on the 360.

Online just started today with Pokemon Battle Revolution. Then there are other games which will be released later which have online, including Mario Strikers and (hopefully) Smash Bros. Brawl. There are very few sports games right now, with Madden being the most highly-rated. There are GTA-type games on the Wii now, such as The Godfather and Scarface, but not a lot of exclusive games like that. This could change in the next few years (hopefully), and if it does then you can pick it up at a discounted price. But right now, I don't think the Wii is for you.

As for future fps games, there is Brothers in Arms: Double time, Metroid Prime 3, and MoH Airbourne. But as of now, nothing very good in the FPS category.

Godfather: Blackhand edition: GS Rating 7.6/10

Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition: GS rating 9.1/10

Splinter Cell: Double Agent: GS Rating 6.2/10

POTC: At Worlds End: GS Rating 5/10

Scarface: World is Yours: GS rating 5.8/10

LoZ:Ocarina of Time: GS Rating 8.9/10

LoZ: Twilight Princess: GS rating 8.8/10

As for tps games, there are some good one out for the wii. However, many of these are NOT traditional shooters, just third-person. there are also some more tp games comin out, such as GRAW 2, Manhunt 2, Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles, Tomb Raider Anniversary. Right now, your best wii tps is Resident Evil 4, however iti is a scary game.

I also am an x360owner and enjoy fps and tps games. i will be gettin a wii soon, because i like the mario games(Smooth Moves, SSBB, Galaxy, SPM) and also want Metroid 3 and Twilight Princess. If you dont enjoy the light-hearted mario games or third-person action-adventure games, and are solely relying on the wii for fps and tps games, you shouldnt get it.

your best bet is too stay with the 360 and wait for halo 3, BFBC, COD4, GoW 2, Mercs 2, and White Gold.

Except that its also good for RPGs, arcade and simulation racers. Not to mention a plethora of kickass XBL arcade games.
