is the wii really that good i mean all the motion control is the same swing, thrust etc. Where is the variety and the CPU's are so easy the games aren't that long either i think that nintendo either needs more variety in there games or needs most of there games to be gamecube controller played.Â
You know that the console is 4 months old. You can't ask miracle in short times especially when the console is a success and developers are surprised for that: roughly 5 milions consoles.
The games are coming.
If you want a comparaison, if you think it's the same thing with the Wii I would not ask what about the PS3 or the 360. They are using the same button pushing and this thing has been around for 20 years. Â
Also forget the GameCube controller. The GC is only good for the VC and the GC games. If you can't accept this, Wii is not for you.

Lets see you try to own a major corporation and try to get enough people WITH THE REQUIRED skills to make you enough games and fast. Put yourself in that owner dudes place >.> . Just wait a little longer, and besides, its not like the other systems have great games out yet either
The Wii is a really great system. It only came out a few months ago so there are not a whole lot a games. By the end of '07 there will be a huge variety of games.
yes, it is that good. u already hav a few good games out now (i.e. zelda, warioware) and even better ones r one the way (i.e. mario galaxy, metroid, smash bros. brawl)
In my opinion it is a very good console and i am enjoying it alot. If you want a variety of games from Nintendo and 3rd party developers you will have to have some patience and wait for the ball to start rolling like it did for the DS.Â

Think of a button. You press it. Now think of a swing, you swing to the right you hit the ball to the right, you swing to the left you hit the ball to the left. Up, Down, diagonal, now just lightly to the side, now straight, slightly curve it to the right. You know what...maybe it is just a button mash. Maybe if i just press the button slightly to the left the ball will fly as if I'm really hitting it!
To be honest, right now the Wii isnt really that good. Most games are third-party shovelware, and unless Nintendo somehow proves that the Wii has staying power, the developers will continue to make shovelware.I would wait, at least when No More Heroes releases before asking the question again.
The Wii is easy to develop for, and poses an interesting medium for game designers to work for. Expect there to be a torrent of games in the coming years.
Why must people always complain! Its just come out and is will of course have great games as time passes. Also dont blame nintendo as there games are almost always good and so they take their time with development. if u wanna be angry be angry at third party for making a fast buck off the new console

Because motion controls wouldn't help fire emblem goddess of dawn? It's a frigging strategy game that can be played on a nes or one handed rpg controller. 99% of the announced wii games are still in development. Get some frigging perspective. I hate these so called gamer rants about a drought. There is no drought it is a frigging myth because you refuse to see 99% of the games that are on the shelf or that are coming out. Xbox 360 and PS3 have a gaming drought in their first year. Wii doesn't. PS3 fans in the states and Europe admit that the only game that is appealing is Resistance. The Japanese added a crap gundam game. Xbox 360 fans **** for over a year that there were no games. By comparison Wii owners can name the following games as being worthy of being owned. Excite Truck, Warioware, Trauma Center, Elebits, Zelda, SSX Blur is considered the return of the hardcore gamer to the franchise casting off the wimpy button mashers, Wii Sports and numerous other titles coming out this year.
