What I think is it will become the same as RE4 did and will come out at a later time for half the price im pretty sure it wont be coming 2 the wii at release though

Yes, wii will magically have the graphics power to pull it off a year after release as a port :|

It very well may, since as of now what you see on the Wii is the first generation of graphics. Just look at first generation and closing generation games for the past few consoles.
So it's not magic, it's learning and improving how developers use the Wii!

So, you're telling me wii was able to pull off gears of war graphics all along?! By golly, what a discovery :o
Guess it must be the devs fault for not using it's full potential. It can't possibly be the fact wii is weaker than 360 and ps3 by a big margine.
And i also find it very strange that the wii's greatest looking is SMG which can be pulled off by the 360 easily.
Oh again, it must be magic seeing as how wii is already weaker than the other two, i can't possibly see it suddenly becoming as strong as the other two without nintendo building a new console :|

You know very little about how these things work don't you? I guess you don't understand that it takes time to fully understand how to use the dev kits, and grahpics engines to a point where you get the best graphics possible.
Look up the N64 and look at the power that thing had that no one ever tapped into until after its time was up.
You obviously don't understand that graphics don't just jump like that on one console in a matter of a year or two. Super Mario Galaxy is easily the best looking Wii game to date. Nothing cones close to it. Compare it to Gears and you'll see what he's talking about. The best the Wii is going to is something similar to 360 launch titles, maybe Kameo if we're lucky. You know very little about how these things work don't you? Again, you believe the wii will produce gears of war graphics out of the blue? even at full power, it can't. face it. it's weaker than the other two. The only game we see pushing the wii so far is galaxy, which, again, could be done on the 360 with ease.

sigh it will not produce it out of the blue. After time spent working on the wii we will see what it is capable of fully in due time. You are taking graphics from this period and assuming that is all it can do. Every console will do that, the PS3 and Xbox360 definatley will have much greater grahpical potential once they work with it more. I am not saying the Wii is as powerful, I am only saying that we will be able to see much better graphics as this generation continues.

Ok that is true...but that still won't be enough to produce RE5 :|

Of that we do not know because the actual numbers and capabilites of the Wii have not been released. Sure they've said how many megahertz Broadway is and how much RAM it has, but as for the limitations of the little white box, the public doesn't know.

We already know wii is weaker than the other two. that's enough info to let us know that it can't produce RE5. and even if we did get the game, we'd get a horrible, water down port with probably less enemies on screen, horrible framerate, ect.

No, we pretty much know that it will never be able to make those graphics. The Wii will never have the power to compete there. The idea that devs get better over time is true but there's a point where you can't do certain things. Like I don't care how much time you take you're never going to develop NES games that are on par with the Gamecube. Just as you'll never see Wii games on par with the two other companies.
There's too many variables that the Wii just can't power, everything from graphics to physics are just too much for it to handle.
Like I said before, Wii owners will miss out on 5 but there'll be too much support to miss out on 6.
Actually, the Wii could produce the same graphical quality as the 360...so long as you don't mind playing it at one frame every few seconds. (Resident Evil 5: Slideshow edition)
There is actually a chance that it can produce good graphics. look at re4 on the cube. it looked amazing to begin with. the wii could use the same graphics engine it used for re4 but upgraded to the point to be playable. Its not always about graphics, but how you play it.miguel_collazo
In other words, a crummy port. Yay :|
